That's a surpise, but ok then. With that being the case, the choice is yours: you can spend a few hours (if even that) browsing the cheat engine and DAI modding tools forums and learn how to easily make the changes you desire and more; or you can wait for BW to someday maybe implement NG+. If these features are something you really want, which your original post heavily suggests, I'd definitely recommend the former.

Alright, cool. Thanks for the tip. I'll be honest with you - I haven't actually been following DA:I or this forum for a few months now, so I'm not aware of any changes they've made or any progress on the parts of the modders. I'll give it a try.

Sure thing. This thread contains pretty much all the tools (i.e. cheat engine) and info you need in order to edit in changes that emulate NG+. The DAI modding tools stuff covers graphical mods, plot flag editing in save games and various other changes (like the mods available at the DAI nexus).

I'd love to have a NG+, if only to replay some of my favorite characters.

With the first two DAO games, you could make some decent rebuilds of old characters (and then grab the screenies of the sliders no problem). With Inquisition, there's no general profile pic for your character (just that green hand), and this is probably just a fail on my part, but I seriously have the worst luck trying to get screenshots in game using the windows/printscreen button combo. I always seem to mistime it and get jumped to the windows 8 tile screen  <_< so for any character for whom I didn't get pictures of their slider/boxes, I'm somewhat doomed to never be able to recreate their faces :P

I don't know if I care that much about the level scaling, but I think a new challenge is never out of place. I know if Mass Effect 3, I had a blast putting my Shep through the game a few times (in my mission to buy every upgrade ever XD)

No idea how easy or difficult this would be to implement, but I'd love to see it added someday.

It's not really the sort of game that lends itself to new game plus... Not without breaking the multi-game narrative anyway.

Eh? I don't think I understand what you mean by "multi-game narrative." Please 'splain?

I'm not sure what this is supposed to mean. My first assumption was that you meant about the overarching narrative between multiple games, but that wouldn't really make sense, since Mass Effect doesn't suffer from this problem, despite having NG+ in every game. In any case, there's no meaningful difference in this respect to simply starting a New Game, only with NG+ you might get some sort of bonus for completing it the first time, and being able to skip the character creator if you'd simply like to start that same character again.

Now, on the subject of NG+ and leveling, I don't think that being the level you ended would work since enemies are fixed, and obviously specialization would be reset, but certain things in the inventory would be nice, like if you were able to keep certain schematics for instance. For myself, one thing I wish we did have, though it would probably be a longshot, would be to have whatever look we created for Hawke be something we can repeat in a NG+ playthrough of that character, so we don't have to recreate her/him either.

What I waited if there was a NG+ in Inquisition :

Random schematics are in your possession (every NG+ increase the number of starting schematics).

Random ore and material (same engine than schematics for the quantity and quality)

Special item (like a ring that give a 10% to all your Inqui stats. For casuals who can try harder difficulties this way).

New SkyHold costumes.

One bonus point of Influence since the start.

So, NG+ will pile up to finally obtain one hell of a powerful guy! And a chance to build your perfect team without using any cheat engine.

But I have little to no hope.
