Are there any appearance mods out yet for PC? specifically for Cassandra and Josephine?

Like others I think I'd rather see something to change the Inquisitor's casual outfit while he/she's waltzing around Skyhold. I like the willowy figure of the elves so that they're not just short humans with pointy ears, but having a skintight casual outfit makes you looks absolutely silly while judging someone on the thone.

I was never really fond of the "make NPCs pretty" variety of mods for any sort of game. The only real exception is Skyrim and that was to improve the textures, not actually alter the structure of their face and/or body.

Can we lock this thread already? You got an answer to your question that you were too lazy to google and there is nothing more to discuss. Nobody cares what you find attractive and not.

Actually, I, a straight male, am romancing Dorian (gay dwarf), Blackwall (straight female dwarf) and Solas (straight female elf). And why? because frankly they are better romances than the straight male ones on offer. I know BW has an agenda so I just roll with it.

Then why do you want to change Cassandra's and Josephine's appearance? I think you're full of BS.

These generalizations are meanignless. That would be like saying Thor (or nords in general) is feminine because he has long hair. When clearly Thor is far manlier than a lot of guys with short hair.

They are not meaningless unless you think biology does not exist and has no validity and real world conditions and the views we derive from them have no application in video games. Yes, men can have long hair but hair is not a primary factor in male sex appeal/mate value, resources and provisioning are, i.e. money and status, the hair is thus irrelevant.

So I can make her attractive. I would like to do a straight romance at some point in time.

No! I need more mindless reasons to hate Stardusk that I'll forget in two days.

I can imagine what your Skyrim looks like if you've played it on PC.

What you talk about here is less about actual biology and more about what the manosphere considers biology.

I just want to shave off Dorian's mustache.  Everything else is tolerable.

I'm not even romancing him.

So women do not place a premium on wealth and resources and men do not do so on youth and beauty? Are there exceptions? Yes, but exceptions make the rule. There is a reason why many straight men do not think Cassandra is attractive. Btw. what is actual reproductive biology to you then? I cannot fathom what it might if not anything related to both male and female prerequisites.

Hair length is by no means an indicator of youth or any other aspect of attraction on a purely biological level. You can have any length of hair at any point in your life. Long hair being seen as sexually appealing on women moreso than on men is wholly a sociological factor. In many cultures across the world both men and women have long hair.

If you do not like short hair on women, fine, but don't try and claim that it is a biological fact that long hair is more sexualy appealing than short hair. I think Cassandra look stunning, and I think Jack from the Mass Effect series is the most beautiful of all BioWare characters, and I'm fairly certain I'm not a freak of nature.

Not manly per se but for biological reasons long hair is more feminine, i.e. a sign of youth, health and fertility. Still, as Cassandra is over 40, and waning in fertility as well as well past her youth the short hair could make sense.

Posts like this always make me want to shave my head. I'm in my late 30's though, I suppose a forced haircut will happen soon enough, once the Fertility Police find me.

If we're getting really biologically-ish here, scent actually plays a really important role in picking a partner. And humans actually are supposed to bang as many different people as they possibly can, including people such as Cassandra, to advance and mix the genetic pool to help randomize humans.

YAY for biology!

Ah but long hair better shows health, youth and fertility; it is only feminine, if at all for that reason. Once again male hair length is irrelevant as a mate value factor.

Scent is important but in a video game, hard to detect, at least harder than appearance variables.

I think both Cass and Josey are good for their characters.  They could just use some tweaking.

I honestly thought that you were going to end that with telling me that I should take the red pill. Your argument isn't even about reproductive biology. What you talk about is social psychology.

Your whole argument about women preferring wealth and men seeking youth isn't a thing about reproductive biology. Reproductive biology in its simplest form consists on hormonal reactions that are a big wild card, seeign how the reactions can be triggered by anything.

Social psychology is what sets what we see as beauty and attractive in our potential mates. And it's something that constantly changes. What we considered appealing during the renaissance is vastly different to what we consider appealing today. Hell what we consider appealing today is vastly different to what was the norm in the 50s.

Again your whole argument about sex being tied to money and youth is not about actual reproductive biology. You aren't born with the desire to bang rich guys or small petite white women with red hair and green eyes. You develop those tastes through social context.

No. I want her hook nose gone, skin colour is fine. Always interesting how the PC  folk assume all sorts of things, i.e. homophobia, racism, etc. Fascinating really.

Emma Watson looked hot as **** with her pixie haircut. I don't even know what insanity you're trying to spread here.
