Are there any appearance mods out yet for PC? specifically for Cassandra and Josephine?

Now you made me look it up. Thanks a lot.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I actually did use two mods when I played through Dragon Age II and one of them put pants on Isabela and I saw a mod that said something about a more fair skinned Isabela.

Haha, that's same way I discovered the White Isabela mod(s). Went looking to get her a pair of pants, pulled an eye muscle at some of the other search results.

Tis' really fascinating how the politically correct social justice crowd react to the OP's request when all he is asking for is if there are any mods out to improve what he does not like with the game.

As I recall, mods are optional and the OP just wants straight male romance options with decent hair and decent nose...

This is after all, a fantasy form of entertainment. Involving pixels. If there are those who wish to want fairer skin or longer hair or better nose on characters and they wish to get them via modding, which is optional and not enforced on anyone, I fail to see why this becomes a problem.

Has there been any logical correlation, with proof, that show people who prefer women with longer hair or better noses or fairer skin and want them in a game to be sexist or misogynistic or racist ? I think not.

Yet...Talk about hypocrisy, censorship and thought policing.  As I recall, the OP is not suggesting anyone to mod their real life appearance, just the appearance of a pixelated character. Talk about taking personal offense to and white knighting something that is not real.

To Stardusk, no, so far there has not been any mods out. Frostbite is not exactly very easy to mod, people are just starting to learn about DAI's files and stuff for now. Perhaps in a few months time ? Assuming we can get around the annoying DRM.

Does it even make sense? I mean technically even if Isabella was white, she would had ended up with a permanent tan, considering how much time she must have spent on the sea.

She was white in some of the early DA2 promo art (and it was a bad look).

Yeah. It's embarrassing to walk into the War Room with Cassandra, Cullen and Leliana wearing their armour and you show up in your weird pyjamas. Thank god Josephine has that ridiculously bright gold outfit on, otherwise I would look like the biggest fool.

Now I gotta see the trailer. Was it as bad as the Sacred Ashes trailer for Origins?

My Inquisitor is such a badass he shows up to work in his PJs.

Cassandra and Josephine look fine. What they really need is to get rid of the weird shine on everyone's skin. Sera's is particularly bad. Her skin looks greasy as ****. Every time I go and talk to her I'm like ," Wash your goddamn face!"

It doesn't fit with the pirate vibe they wanted to give her. Looks more like some sort of assassin.

Because if Bioware wanted to make a game where everyone looked traditionally extremely beautiful they could. Instead they make the game more realistic? (<-- has to be a better way to say it than this)

Anyways...It's pretty clear Stardusk wants to change Cassandra's appearance to something that he likes better IRL so yes I would say there is a logical correlation to show that he prefers long haired women IRL. And downloading a mod that turns Isabela or Josephine into a lighter skin is racist and I don't like racist people.

And also sometimes I gotta vent some anger or something I don't know.

Honestly, I think he might have gotten a better reaction if he'd just gone with the fact that he just thought it looks better that way since that's a pretty subjective thing. Instead he tried to pull the nonsense biology with the "long hair means youth and fertility" and... yeah. Cue a video clip of the A-Bomb test.

Of course, I could be wrong since it's kind of hard to predict these things in most cases.

Yeah can't wait to get Cassandra and Josephine turned into supermodels and be all naked throughout the game not to mention a modded 3way scene with them. Should also remove Dorian and Iron Bull romances and make Sera straight. Then I can finally really play this role-playing game.

need some pretzels for all this salt

Why do you care so much about what Stardusk want's to do in his game, it's his game. Would you be throwing a hissy fit if someone wanted to make Cullen or Cassandra romanceable to same sex PC's? It doesn't effect you personally, it's not being forced upon you against you will. It's just a game.

If someone was trying to make Cullen or Cassandra bisexuals? I absolutely would hate that too. I can understand modding to a certain degree, but when it pretty much starts replacing the base game like this, I dislike it.

By the way, I have no personal life. All I've got are these forums so yes it's kinda affecting me personally. Makes me angry.

Stardusk you are now misogynist/racist because you want the only two female romances for heterosexual males to look more feminine ;)

Then you are really going to hate the fact that my female Warden and Morrigan have a cute little God baby. It is magic after all.

I will only speak for myself. I could care less what he does with his game. If he wants to turn every character in the game into Victoria's Secret models, by all means.

I only came here to express my opinion of short hair on women automatically makes then look manly. That's a silly generalization made only by pure biased opinion and lacking any sort of factual biological evidence. The fact that he tried to justify it through "biology" is what bothers me.

Again, don't like women with short hair? That's cool. Saying that short hair on women automatically makes then look manly? That's a silly generalization.

But by all means, everyone is free to mod to their hearts content. Add whatever floats your boat. Not my problem.

I don't see the issue with them modding whatever they want into their game. It's kind of like the same as fanfiction. In fanfiction the fangirls could make Cullen gay or anything like that. It doesn't affect me, so why should I be mad that they want to make their own little fantasy?

Well I'll be mad at Bioware if they allow that through the Keep not you. Unless I missed something in Origins where women can have babies with Morrigan.

You have no idea.

Once again, believe me when I say that I dislike fanfiction like that too. Actually I dislike fanfiction in general.

I'm a real hate machine, am I not?

What your saying in bold is not based on Fact though,Its completely subjective. Lots of men find Short hair on women very masculine.

Pretty much this.

I honestly don't agree with OP's opinion of short hair in women=manly. I don't agree with his reasoning to defend the point. But I'll defend his right to make whatver he wants with his game.

That's the point I wanted to make. I don't agree with the generalization on the subject, because of the very fact that it is a subjective thing. A lot of people find something attractive, while another crowd finds it unnatractive. So saying for example that short hair automatically equals manly is factually wrong. Yes, someone or many can find that a woman with short hair looks unnatractive, but the opposite also applies, someone or many can find that a woman with short hair is attractive.
