So I joined a random perilous difficulty game and some dudes were cheating hardcore, doing 1 hit kills with staffs and whatnot. The katari in the video supposedly was the person controlling this cheat or whatever it is. It was ridiculous. I doubt 80% of the leaderboards are actually legit right now.
I captured 11 minutes of these cheaters.
The person was able to grant extra damage to other party members somehow... he had all kinds of crazy crap. He also removed all of the abilities from this other guy during the gameplay... This guy even had speedhacks.
Vid still uploadin. Will update this with it soon.
The mp is full of cheaters.

Been playing for a week. Not met a single cheater.
Full of cheaters may be an exaggeration.

This is what P2P hath wrought - you remove official servers run by the company, and suddenly everyone can set up games with their own rules (such as low health enemies, massive payouts, etc). You either need dedicated server (not gonna happen, because that costs money) or play on tamperproof hardware (I can change game files all I want, so any game I host could be manipulated - to prevent that, you're gonna have to use a console with a special chip that only loads specially approved operating systems which only runs specially approved games. Enjoy your 1984 utopia)

i'd like to know how you're running around without any lag... OH, console, i understand
but yeh, i've not seen a single cheater on PC, maybe it's simply not possible because of the DRM

i get a different kind of lag... it makes my char sort of rubberband/sort of jitter when running in any direction, it's such a pain... by comparison your game is buttery smooth, you are getting lag spikes sure, but not the kind of lag i get consistently

If you want to get rid of the lag, stick to playing with others in your country or rather close proximity.
I refuse to play with anyone not Australian, New Zealander or Pacific Islander due to the lag making the game almost unplayable. If at such a time as to not have any lag with connecting to players in the US or EU, I would be happy to join with anyone.. but until such time, I am at the mercy of the lag.

Such an advice would be great if players could actually choose which hosts matchmaking system connects them to.
You do know there is a Looking for group section on the forums right? You can use it to find players in your region and build your friend list from them.. I have bout a dozen oceanics to play with..

surely there's algorithms in-place to group people to those closest to them? you simply don't understand this lag, i get it in every single match, so getting matched with players from different regions isn't the problem for me, there's something else in the way

Which adds an additional layer of bother to just playing and getting acceptable results. Not like the system would put you into your friends' lobbies, or them into yours. You have to manually invite every one of them every time. You do know there is a Looking for group section on the forums right? Denuvo has nothing to do with anti-cheat.

Didn't the devs say that it is protecting the DAI.exe for such purposes as to make cheating harder among other things? Might be I remembered that wrong.

Denuvo only protects the executable file from being manipulated physically. Cheating in MP games more about doing it virtual way - you run a mem editor program along the game. Then you can use it while playing to mess with memory vor various things e.g. (loved teleporting myself in WOW player created server emulators
by simply finding the coordinates of my char in the memory.
Or if it's too hard you can find trainer - program that automate these things for folks who are less knowneable in memory hacking.
Two minutes on google I found this video:
http://www.dailymoti...rial_videogames
and the trainer used in it
http://gamehostia.co...-game-trainers/
No clue if this one particular trainer works, but they are common in weak/no anti-cheating protected games. So there is porbably dosen of others you can find.

^ You know, I wouldn't exactly name it good taste to link such things ... nor good sense.
