lol, that's a broad generalisation.  Didn't some stats show "most" PC gamers use low spec machines to play Minesweeper or Hearts on ;)

Also PC-master-hack-race, just like ME3:  N7link caught editing, FasterThanLight caught using 6/6/6/6/6, RedJohn caught using FramePS-glitch.  Plus all the others...

But meh, it's their choice, as long as they don't wave their epeen and has in my face, i'm cool with them doing what they do.

Well, one of the 'advantages' I keep hearing about consoles is that 'I don't have to know anything about hardware, I just plug it in, put the disk in it and it works'.

Again, I'm not debating that there are cheaters on PC. I'm saying that due to the format of PC it is more transparent - if someone cheats that can be discovered. That's untrue for consoles, people are sitting on it like it was some unhackable miracle machine and you couldn't cheat on it. It is not, jailbreak/spoofing is rampant on consoles, but as it's not transparent and it's bad PR manufacturers do nothing about it. I mean people know by gamertag the most rampant cheaters. How twisted is that? Why noone is doing anything about it?

So no, I disagree with you. I'm not even sure that the nominal number of PC cheaters are more than console cheaters actually. PC cheaters gets discovered faster and more sure that's true.

I don't have the game, so I don't know much about it, but the leaderboards are almost certain to be dominated by those who use one or more forms of cheating to get there, if ME 3 MP is any indication.

Which is why it's always better to play for fun. That way, cheaters can only temporarily interrupt your good time when you run into them. As soon as they're not in your game anymore, it's fun again.

Bioware made it very easy to hack in ME3MP, and I bet it is almost as easy to hack in DA3MP. I got a lot of good laughs from that video. Have to admire the creativity that goes into that kind of hacking.

So I just joined this random perilous difficulty mp game and this katari inquisitionhawke guy was cheating hardcore....

He was even able to apparently take abilities out from the hotbar of OTHER players in the game...  guy was doing insane damage, giving other people insane damage, and was speedhacking as well.

These leaderboards are probably a joke because of this. I wonder how many of those people on the boards are actually cheating.

You're stupid if you think the leaderboard is anything other than BS in the first place, since it only accounts for time played and doesn't represent any metric of skill, such as the systems that exist in Counter Strike, StarCraft, DOTA, League, or even Halo 2. You're literally crying about someone cheesing through Call of Duty prestige points that do nothing. Just don't play with them.

This is definitely worrisome since it can spread around, but personally, losing the leaderboards is hardly cause for concern. There are no doubt more leaderboards with cheaters dominant than not.

360 ME3 unlimited rocket launcher cheaters.

No console gamer has ever cheated in any MP game ever. They all wear halo's when playing.

Wasn't Denuvo anti-tampering supposed to prevent this?

BTW. Denuvo was not designed to do this at all. It's meant so that the exe will not be edited. And hacks don't modify exe files at all.

They work on the process that's in the memory. Some insert their code into the game and area easily detected.

Some hack overaly like Steam or Xfire and just read data from the game, those are basically always undetected.

Some kinds of protection use screenshots (like Punkbuster) but the smarter guys laugh at those kinds of tricks.

How is DAMP?

Much smarter than ME3, where you could add credits to the game (so nobody bought Bioware points).

Most data is on the server. But apparently the guy in video used Cheating Engine (or other programm) to speed up the whole game process.

If he was the server, the mobs should also move faster and kill him.

If he was not, than it is strange he didn't get desynced and disconnected... Using some sort of invisible timers that would be compared with the host would allow for a very easy fix for this hack.

As for the 1-hit-kill attacks, I'm blank. No idea. Maybe he unlocked promote button (status like 0 for not able and 1 for able?)

I assume character stats are server sided, but maybe not?

In ME3 you could also hack the number of ability points, to unlock all the trees (usually you are a few short on lvl20).

I wonder if they fixed that as well, or did they only care about thier platinum store revenue protection?

Dunno about the rest but that part is incorect.

This is actully a bug that have happened to me on few occasions before. I will play a game whit one character - and the next game whit the same character my abilities will be gone.

Why bother staying for 3 games if you were going to report him? I'd expect you to have left instantly (or after the first game at the very least) if you were so anti-cheating.
