what is the best way to use/build her as a tank

Get both taunts(upgrade war cry for the armor boost) + 20% more armor passive. 

Get all the passives in the sword and shield tree.

Get grappling hook and combat roll in battlemaster

Get just about everything in the Templar tree.

Get the ability that deals massive damage to guard in sword and shield tree. (left side, forgot the name)

 

That's the base of it. From there on I also opt for getting the stamina regen + horn of valor in Battlemaster, then I get some of the guard bonuses in Vanguard. At this point I am finishing the game. Cassandra never dies, her guard never breaks and she is just a beast.

 

For behavior i set:

 

Follow: Cassandra

30% stamina reserve (in case taunt is off CD)

0 potion reserve

Heal at 30%

 

Tactic:

 

Preffered: Warcry, Challenge, combat roll
