Does anyone get deep feelings of nostalgia every time kirkwall or anything to do with da2 is brought up?

Don't get me wrong, I loved Dao a lot more. But because the whole game was spent in kirkwall. I feel kirkwall being more personal to me than any other city in thedas.

Anyone else feel the same?

Not really, I'd re-visit Denerim before Kirkwall.

Was nice seeing Redcliffe though.

Yep, I'm with you. I really enjoyed DA2 so I do have a bit of nostalgia for that game. Makes me happy when I hear little things here and there.

You know what I would have liked to see in Inquisition?

The DA2 dungeon. Except we get to go through the whole thing at once, no cemented up doors or invisible walls.

This post reminds me of when Varric says "Don't believe everything you hear about Kirkwall, It's not all bad". Pretty sure that was the devs talking to all the Kirkwall haters haha

The Hard in Hightown chapters are hilarious.

Guardsman Donnen is awesome. And not at all based on a guardsman with a very similar name. :)

I was in the middle of my 2nd DA2 playthrough when I started Inquisition, and, yup, feeling nostalgic.

Everytime a texture is a bit slow to load in reminds me of Kirkwall on max graphics.

No, not really.  I get feelings of nostalgia towards areas in Ferelden or quests/activities that remind me of DA:O.  I have a much larger attachment to that game however in comparison to DA2, so this is no surprise.

I get that way at the DA:O references more, like Connor or the Hero of Ferelden monument in Redcliffe. But this theme playing after a certain...thing happened definitely brought some nostalgia feels.

I do. I miss DA2's characters and I hoped for more closure in this game... :\

Having three very distinct adventures now in the series definitely gives me a new perspective on the little Kirkwall dalliance. I may play it again....

I didn't get that feeling regarding Kirkwall, the city, but I did get it whenever Aveline was mentioned.

I had Cullen send Inquisition troops to support Aveline's resistance against Sebastian's attempt to annex the city. It felt good.
