i choose a dwarf for my inquisitor, and dialouge wise i have gone for a traditional backround from her. she has spent a lot of time at Orzammar, knows little about magic, and most importantly believes in the stone. even after telling my companions that she does not believe in the maker, she believes in the stone instead- they still not only treat her as if she believes in the maker, but also purposefully give the impression to others that she does. i understand that it's for character reasons and for Josephine's part propaganda motivated, but it is impossible for me to understand how my character could end up friends with these people as they step all over her religion and even try to hide it from others, pretending she is a follower of the maker. and why would she be a follower of the maker, after all it's said that the maker did not even make dwarves, so even if she believed he would not be her creator.
i just wish there were more dialouge options to address this issue.

Dwarven Herald is strange in that she can say she doesn't believe in the Maker, but doesn't get to assert what she does believe in--unlike the Dalish elf. I think they wanted the assumption to be that they'd be Andrastrian if religious, since most surface dwarves we meet are, but I was very sad about it too, as the dwarven religion stuff is so cool and I based so much of my Warden around it.

I'm more disappointed with how poorly Skyhold customization turned out. I wanted to have so much Dwarf stuff around the keep... but all I get is a banner, heraldry, and a few Dwarven statues downstairs (which are there cosmetically). Well, and other things, but I want a more visible Dwarven presence.... a traditional one. No Dwarven throne or Golems or anything.
Also I was hoping Skyhold could link up to the Deep Roads.
And how does one get a Bronto mount?

Not all of the companions will ignore your religion, both Solas and Cole will make comments about the Stone.

I had similar issues with the Dalish Inqy. I even had dialog where I said something like "thank the maker"
Can't wait for my next play through a a dwarf.
