Or is it marked for death? Anyway, it's without doubt the highest damage skill in the game. It seems that there is no telling when the time is running out. Could bioware add some reminder in the incoming patch? (if there is one) It is really hard to estimate the time.

Definitely agreed. And same for a slew of other important duration-based abilities like Walking Fortress, Counterstrike, and Fire Wall.

Well, on the PC version, with a controller setup, there is an indicator. When death mark is active, it shows a diamond shaped buff above your skill tray. When the buff is about to end, the indicator flashes rapidly for a second or two. That is your queue to detonate the mark. Granted, it could be easier to notice, but it is there.

I doubt it's the highest damaging skill in the game... Just count out load when you use it.
