So any way to change this? Maybe acquire more salvageable parts from unique or rare weapons? if you don't use them? Change level restrictions or something?
There has to be a fix somewhere.

I think two things could pretty much fix things:
1. More mats from salvaging (the amount you get now is pathetic)
2. Make weapons craftable
As it is its way too much of a grind just to unlock classes, I mean at 5 items a chest and 1 mat per salvage, with RNG standing between you and what you need at every step ...
Yeah, count me among those for whom the loot system is quickly making me lose interest. I've unlocked every class except for one and it's likely one that I'll never play anyway (Necromancer). Given that I've got my four characters that I play (Legionnaire, Katari, Alchemist, and Arcane Warrior), I'm not seeing much of a point anymore. I've gotten a few good weapons from the chests and, fortunately, right out of the gate (like third chest I bought), got the Alchemist Rigging. But other than that, it's been useless low-level gear that I just break down for crafting materials. And I'm mostly done crafting what I want anyway. All of my characters have their advanced gear at this point.
Oh well, I guess I'll return to it once they make some free DLC's, but otherwise, this is a bit of a dud for me.
