Why don't we get to see The Iron Bull dance?! Lol. My male inquisitor is romancing him, and he asks me to dance at the end, but it doesn't show it! I feel like it would have been hilarious. My fiance just completed that part of the story, but it showed his inquisitor and Dorian dancing. The sadness!

Depends abit on your companion, i got Sera to accept the dance, but the scene faded away just as it started. What bothers me the most is the clothing we use at the winter palace, it is dreadful!

I'm really grateful and happy we had at least a short cutscene.
But the female clothes - oh, yes. Dreadful. There were so many women dressed elegantly - heck, I'd even take Morrigan's dress or Queen Anora's. Queen Celene's was exquisite, naturally. But me? Wearing pants? Again? Really, I have a feeling female Inquisitors have very few chances to be female - beautiful haircuts from the times of DA:O are gone, default face is no longer beautiful(default Hawke/Cousland/Mahariel were great for me), and now pants during the ball, and dancing with a woman who wears a dress while my female Inquisitor is forced into breeches and a short haircut. Sigh.

Zomg, I agree completely! I made a female character also, because how could I not have a play through to romance Cullen, am I right? But the hair is terrible! Why can't we have just nice long hair? Anyways, Yes the fact that they had the women in the same thing as the men was also very disappointing. The scene with Bull, when he asks to dance, was still very funny. I very much liked it, I just wanted to see that oaf dance! Lol. I was also sad that when he comes out onto the balcony after Morrigan leaves, he's back in his regular clothes. I thought to myself, "No! You put your nice clothes back on this instant!!" Lol.

I loved the quest but I was really expecting dresses like FemShep got, especially for Josephine and Leliana.

Seeing Bull dance would have been awesome
As for the attire, it was a good idea to have uniforms, since the Inquisitor is there for business, not pleasure. But, it would have been great if they'd have had a separate outfit for the ladies. Heck, dress uniforms in the military are different for men and women... ![]()

Animation issues probably. Better that the screen fades to black than risk seeing another awkward scene.
Definitely possible. But then, they did do an excellent dance between Garrus and Shepard at one point, and that was on an older engine.

I agree that it's probably animation issues. There is such a huge discrepancy between Bull and female dwarf that it was probably almost impossible to get him to be able dance with her without it being an issue.

I can totally understand if it was an animation thing, but I was heartbroken to not see it! Lol. Also, I was hoping that afterwards you would be able to wear that outfit around Skyhold. Kind of like in Mass Effect where you could change your casual uniform on the Normandy. I played a girl character in Mass Effect to romance Garrus, and I like that you got to wear the dress on the Normandy after the party that you go to with Kasumi.

@Edi: That would have been a great uniform for Skyhold.
I was also a little bummed we didn't get to make a scandal on the dancefloor.
The Arishok Shuffle is all the rage in Par Vollen.

@Medhia-Nox: I would very much like for that to be a real thing. Lol. Come on, Bioware, you're missing good opportunities here! Haha.
I AM glad that they give you the schematics to craft the outfit to wear for battle afterward. I need to find out where to get decent cloth drops reliably to make one for Dorian and I. I like plaideweave and Silk Brocade the best, but finding them in bulk is quite difficult.

I heard that apparently you can't dance with your LI if you flirted with anyone else during your playthrough? Is this true because my qunari flirted with Harding and Vivienne at the start and I'd like to dance with Cass.

Not sure, but I DID flirt with Cullen before I recruited Bull. Who knows? I'm not sure that's accurate though, because my fiance flirted with Cullen, but he was able to dance with Dorian. Unless that was a different save file. If you're not too far away from the Winter Palace and you find out, I'd love for you to come back and let us all know. ![]()

Flirted with Dorian and still got my Josie dance. Then again I did lock her romance before the palace mission.

I flirted a couple times with Harding, but locked in Cass's romance and still danced with her.

I wasn't even in a ro mance with Josie and I still got the dance scene, I only flirted with her a bit before.

It looks good on males but ridiculous on females, I agree with the complaints.

Looks like it might just be Bull. Is there anyone else who doesn't get a dance? If it's just him, then it's probably an animation issue. Remember that he was supposed to be race-gated until Epler fixed it at the last minute. He probably just didn't get around to fixing that scene.

Ah good. I already locked in my romance with Cass before so I should be good. Thnx

Phooey! Well, all the other Bull scenes make up for the loss of the dance I suppose. At least everyone knows now that previous flirting doesn't seem to affect the dance outcome.

Hmm, I flirted with everyone when the option came up (for science and all that), but still got a dance from Blackwall. I made sure to talk to him in the Palace, and that option to say "save a dance for me," or whatever the exact wording was eventually came up. After everything was over, we got a chance to dance on the balcony.

The dance seems to be the case for everyone, except for the Bull. Disappointing to be sure, but good to know. The Bull just puts his arm around your waist and leads you back to the ballroom, and then the screen fades to black.
