I think I'm going to bring Solas with me for his personal quest. 

And I think about bringing Sera too, but it seems like Sera and Solas are really not getting along.

 

So, For now, I think I'm bringing Solas, Vivienne and Blackwall with me.

 

Is there any specific party member that have related party banter or approval points?

I brought Sera, Solas and Cassandra.  (Cassandra and Solas for quests.) I expected Solas to speak up when dealing with the Dalish and when going around the Elven ruins, but maybe 1 or 2 comments and nothing else. The rest it was him arguing with Sera (I love her, she's hilarious.) Ended up switching him with Vivianne, and things are even more quiet. Best combination so far has been Sera, Cassandra, and Bull. They have really good banter if you're lucky enough to catch it. I think I have that bug where banter is really scarce. Could be why Solas barely said a thing.
