I didn't like her work in Legacy (she sounded overly dramatic), but in original DA2 her voice was far more nuanced than Boulton's. Brit femQuiz is good too, but the rest are meh, in my opinion. Brit male Quiz half the time sounds like he has food in his mouth, and both Americans are way too monotonous.

Not sure if you have played Witcher 3, but her performance as Ciri was even better than her DA2 work (which was still excellent). I do wish she had played a small role in Inquisition at least.

I like all the female voicing so far in DA2 and DAI. Never played a male Hawke so I can't comment there. Brit Male in DAI is good to me.

Eh, I preferred Boulton's performance in DA2.

She also makes a fun Imperial agent over in TOR...

Though her male counterpart has a voice like liquid chocolate, so I keep making dude agents. Very tragic. Still, I have grand designs of making one. And if you're addicted to playing FemHawke, but don't want to play DA2, there's an alternative!

She's good but not my favourite. Xanthe Elbrick on the other hand...

Also Natasha Little (sith warrior).

I dunno if I am in the minority here, but I loved the British Male VO for my human Inquizzy

It's interesting hearing that. I actually liked Jo Wyatt more as Ciri than I did as fem Hawke. It's a matter of taste. I do think AWR voiced the inquisitor the best...2nd was John Currie. I thought English male Inquisitor was the worst in the game in my opinion.

This, I still want Natasha Little to voice a female protag in DA

Loved her voice work.  She pulled off a Snarky Lady Hawke so well that I had a hard time playing as any other!

Depends on the setup for me. I enjoy Boulton's VO more when Carver is alive and Hawke is more aggro, with Wyatt with sarcHawke and Bethany.

Yeah, Jo Wyatt truly comes into her own with a sarcastic/humorous Hawke, then she truly shines, I think.

I thought Alix Regan did a great job in DAI as well though and Claudia Black always makes me smile.

Ha! Funny, I always preferred witty mHawke and aggro fHawke. But they're all pretty great. My impressions boiled down to:

Male Hawke = ham and cheese, "I'm crazy"
Fem Hawke = droll, "everyone around me is crazy"

Male Hawke = will punch you in the throat
Fem Hawke = complete and utter disdain, "you are the dirt beneath my shoe"

Diplo Hawke is irrelevant bc... diplo Hawke lololol.

Now, whenever I'm playing Mass Effect 3, it's "That's...my Hawke...and she has such a small role..."

If interested, have Jacob killed in ME2 and Dr.Brynn Cole aka Jo Wyatt will have more dialogue in the mission involving the scientists

I enjoy hearing her and AWR's voices

My favorite is a sarcastic femHawke. Wyatt does an excellent job

Correct me if I'm wrong...but in both of your posts it seems that you are implying that Jo Wyatt isn't in Inquisition. You do know Hawke is in the game, right?

Not if he's male ;)

P.S. I personally wasn't a fan of how Hawke was handled in Inquisition, but this isn't the place to discuss that.

Bioware has certainly benefited from having strong versatile female voice actors perform the roles of Commander Shepard and Hawke, I liked their male counterparts as each character too, but Jennifer Hale and Jo Wyatt were my clear favorites in each role.

I love Jo Wyatt, but she is better in Swtor as the Agent, stellar performance there. Alix Wilton Regan has more range than Jo Wyatt in my opinion. Atleast as far as the emotional impact with words go, Trespasser is evidence of that.

Male Scarscatic Hawke... Was a god amongst men. I like the guys male actors voice more as a snarky dude than a girls. And I've played a Female Inquistor and Female Hawke standing side by side, they sound super similar in terms of accents. Snarky Female Hawke in DAI.... Omg, I had mutilply of those. She's better as either an aggressive or diplomats Hawke.

Really liked her in DA2. She and Boulton were both excellant. I was ecstatic to get to hear and play as her again in W3 as Ciri. I hope she goes on to do more work, she's quite good.

From your keyboard to Caroline Livingstone's ears (eyes?). I wouldn't mind Xanthe Elbrick, either.

As for Jo Wyatt, yeah. I miss her a little. Her snarky!Hawke is one of my favorite characters ever, mostly because of the nuance she gives to what could have been a one-note joke option. She's almost as flawless in SWtOR, as some have noted. However, I think Alix does an amazing job as the Inquisitor, especially when she's frustrated or authorative. I loved her work in DAO/A and ME3, I'm glad she got her chance to be a BW PC, and I wouldn't mind her showing up again in other BW games (although that seems unlikely, unless the Inquisitor comes back or she's in the new IP).

I love my Hawke. All my Hawkes, but purple is the best

She's Ciri in Witcher 3 though. I was like wait, why do I hear diplomatic Hawke from Ciri? :P
