Does anyone know of one (or can create one)?

Not looking for spoilers about them, just how many and the names (as long as the names aren't big spoilers).

Personally I just want to know the level ranges for them all so I don't get too overleveled out in the Exalted Plains :P

Sure, can do that, the names are pretty unspoilery:

The Wrath of Heaven

The Threat Remains

In Hushed Whispers

Champions of the Just

In your Heart Shall Burn

From the Ashes

Here Lies the Abyss

Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts

What Pride had Wrought

The Final Piece

Doom Upon All the World

Two are mutually exclusive, so you'll actually only be doing ten.

Also, listing them like this makes it look like the track listing of a Slayer album. I greatly approve.

The main quest is long about as Dragon Age: Awakening. Yay, open world!

This isn't too bad. Personally, I'm in my first playthrough, I just finished Wicked Eyes, Wicked Hearts. I'm at about 60 hours, haven't even opened up the exalted plains or emerald graves, haven't started Empris Du Lion, and haven't yet fought a single dragon. There's a lot of stuff to do in here.

Besides, If I remember correctly, Mass Effect 2 had like, 4 main story missions.

Yep. Only three main quests left for me. Damn, I don't want to finish this game...

I'm in exactly the same position here. So, I'm slowing down with the main quests :P It doesn't help that I done Here Lies the Abyss and Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts pretty much consecutively though.

But those were spread out through an entire level like Noveria and Feros. So they were just 4 missions but 4 fat missions in terms of content and cutscenes.

Not ME, ME2. So there was... whichever the first one was with Tali. Horizon. Derelict Reaper... and the final mission. I think that's it for main story missions.

Obviously, there's also a ton of stuff that's only barely related to the main mission. My first time through ME2 still probably clocked 50+ hours.

There's seems to be a beefier main story and a lot more to see and do in DAI.

Awakening's campaign has got nothing -- in length or quality -- on Inquisition's, IMO. Inquisition feels significantly lengthier, and I don't mean because of the side content either. Longer than Awakening with ease, longer than 2 with similar ease. Probably not as long as Origins, which is unfortunate and indeed a byproduct of the open-world obsession in the industry. Oh well.

I'd prefer longer, but my favorite game is Xenogears... I'm always going to say that.

I have yet to begin What Pride had Wrought and I'm 110 hours, on hard difficulty with hissing wastes the only area I haven't visited.

So how long would it take one to complete the game, main missions only?

Nope cause ME 2 had the recruitment and loyalty missions which tied into the main story. DAI has nothing like that.

Thanks for the list, looks like I have 3 main story quests left.  I'm almost finished with clearing zones, only 2 left.  I've only been doing main quests as necessary to unlock things...and when I want to stab myself with a spork after doing side quests for too long.

Pretty sure it's more quests than Origins or 2 had, no?

The comparison isn't something I would personally make for several reasons. Among them: how differently quests kind of operate between titles; the fact that at least one of the story missions on the list here is essentially five minutes long, whilst a few others span multiple parts.

The vast majority of them had little or less to do with the main story (which is one of my main issues with ME2, but that's for another thread), and pretty much all of it was optional. The content is a lot more expansive from what I can see in DAI.

In any event, my not remotely complete first playthrough has already lasted longer than either of my initial runs through any ME game, DAO or DA2. I think people are looking for something to gripe about in this case.

I think people would simply love a BioWare game with an incredible number of rich cinematic main story missions to flesh out a narrative to a remarkable level. Ideally I want that too, but I've never played one with such a bedazzling amount, and I doubt I ever will. So I take what I can get, and DAI doesn't feel lacking relative to its peers. :)

It is not probably as long as Origins it is not even close. And about Awakening part, actually Inquisition is longer, and is longer for about how much you need to finish Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts. I am not discussing quality here, length is the problem.
Also i replayed Awakening about month ago so that is how i noticed small difference in length.

I played Awakening (as well as DAO and DA2) for the first time this year and replayed everything a month ago, myself. If there is to be a disagreement between us, it won't be for lack of recent perspective on either of our parts. :P

Awakening's cutscenes are shorter, its presentation thinner, its dungeons perhaps comparable but I'm speaking of narrative beats, number of locations per main quest, et al. In that regard, Inquisition positively trounces Awakening and 2, and is not so far apart from even Origins as you suggest, IMO.

In my first playtrough i finished Inquisition in about 31 hours flat on normal. I cleaned Hinterlands, Crestwood, Storm Coast and Hissing Weasts, finished cold and spirit rooms in temple, freed Inquisition soldiers from Avvar, cleaned Wester Aproach and Exalted plains to the point of needing operations to build bridges.
That didn't happened with Origins, although i had Stone Prisoner DLC.

I agree, From the Ashes isn't even a quest really. But the list of main quests is definitely longer, though that doesn't mean much.
