What are these rumors they speak of?

So Bioware, rumors are that I'm GHEY for Dorian because I did his personal quest which was full of dung btw. I didn't pick any of those stupid heart shaped options because that is what I'm trying to avoid, no? It's pretty sad because Dorian was an alright character.
Hopefully this is a bug. It's quite annoying.

There's various groups trying to smear you and the Inquisition, and I think it's more about his (and by association your) allegiances. It's not a bug.

That's not how I read it. Mother Gizzele even refused to say what those rumors were. Something scandalous I presume.

pretty sure that rumor is about you being friends with a Tevinter mage, and not about making kissy faces at Dorian.
Why would Mother Gizzele be ashamed of saying it then?

I am pretty sure it is about making kissy faces at Dorian. Although homosexuality is represented in nobility and such, commonfolk is not into it that much, so your enemies try to present you as boylover. Politics.

Because the southern Chantry really, really doesn't like Tevinter.
It works either way, it'll surely be a scandal if the herald of andraste is seen being friends with a noble from the heathen Tevinter (eeeeew, they let menfolk into the priesthood), it's just an even bigger scandal if you play hide the sausage with him too.

My guess is because Dorian is a good person, and cares about his country, so she'd feel bad bringing up Tevinter's bad reputation.

Rumors are rumors, they can be anything really. The inquisitor is a famous character, of course there are people trying to make something scandalous out of you. Why would it matter to you, since you yourself know they're only rumors ![]()
Speaking of rumors, I'd actually like if there were more of those, it would make great scenes ![]()
"I'm a father of what now?"
"I did what with a what?"

Too bad you can't shag random wenches early in the game to have these kinds of things happen. It's sad their are no whorehouses in Dragon Age Inquisition.
My inquisitor has blue balls waiting for cass.

And like all news you wait for the story and find out it was just a Inquisition sponsored nature walk for the disadvantaged and blind. ![]()

Come on, it's pretty obvious what she's insinuating.

Was doing a quest for Josephine (after I was trying to romance Cass, she avoided my heart response and the only thing I could say in return is "Hope we can be friends") so I gave up and tried for Josephine.
Was getting her family affairs in order in Val, and I romanced the lady to get her to sign some documents, then romanced Josephine, then after Cass was all like "I'm not interested, Next time I talked to her I could only respond to her with a broken heart option.

That Tevinter mages commonly use bloodmagic and Dorian will brainwash the Inquisitor to secretly take over the Inquisition?

Dorian and Mother Gizelle or whatever her name suggests their are rumors about me and Dorian, even though I'm not romancing him and I'm going all in for Cassandra.

This same thing happens if you are female. The rumors aren't specifically about being gay (though I did take it that there was a sexual undertone, which is the only reason I can think of that a priestess wouldn't want to repeat them).

In DAO your companions were gossiping in your back about your possible relationships. I remember Wynne and Morrigan asking me questions about Leliana or Zevran if I had a high enough approval with them. I thought it was fun, I don't see a problem here.

Ding! Ding! Ding! And Ragabul is the winner.
It happens with a female Inquisitor too. Unless you are also going to assume that Mother Giselle is insinuating that FemInquisitor is also really a man, then it's safe to assume that she's not suggesting that she's sleeping with the gay magister.
It's about the <gasp> scandalous alliance between the Inquisition (which, after all, has its roots in the Chantry) and a Tevinter magister. Stop trying to look for reasons to be offended about sexuality.
