It's set in victorian london and has grappling hooks and vehicles.

I look forward to playing this two years from now when it actually works.

I've been wanting an Assassin's Creed game where you play as Jack the Ripper and are really killing Templars not innocents. I'm crossing my fingers, but not holding my breath.
Edit: Also, do freaking Japan, China or Egypt, Ubisoft. I've seen hordes of people asking for those locations, I myself is among the horde. ![]()
Why do people keep playing this terrible bugged up and dumbed down games. Black Flag sucked and Unity is probably the most poorly made game I've ever played.
I just don't get it. You know, I can see Call of Duty and it's appeal. It does what it aims to do very well. And It's quite fun and never really broken and buggy as ****. It's full derptard and casual but.... It is what it is and has it's own niche.
Or even Madden, again it's dumb but kinda fun.
I can see those games having a strong niche and mainstay in the industry. But these Assassins Creed games...... They're just not that good or fun for years. I think AC2 was the only great one and everything after that was pretty lame.
So this will pretty much just be that Batman: Gotham by Gaslight game that got canceled in 2008?
No i'm sure this will be much less original and unique.
That's been Ubisofts mantra since Revelations it seems. No i'm sure this will be much less original and unique.
Yet again calls for an original game set in the Eastern hemisphere ignored.
Inb4 the "womens are too hard too animate" explanation for a total lack of female protagonist(s)

Woops, guess they were right!!!!
^LOL.
Just think, if they teamed up with COD, they'd get it done in half the time! lel
Just when I was ready to give up on AC, they manage to pull me back in...if it had been anything else but Victorian London I don't think I would have looked forward to this game.

Pfft, 19th century London (Industrial Freak) ain't better than 18th century Paris.
Even in Architecture England is inferior to France.
I predict this Franchise will reach dead end for the good soon (2 or 3 more ACs max).
Wow, I've never been so divided. On one side, another AC game? Ugh. On the other, OMG VICTORIAN LONDON ALL TEH HYPE.
Also Kaizoku unless you have in your possession a time machine and have visited both periods, then that is completely subjective. Personally late Victorian London is far more interesting imo, so touché.
How are these developers not burnt out yet?

I studied history and even without movies I've watched I could tell how polluted, dirty and poor most of London or Manchester were in 19th century.
In 18th century a fully enriched Paris had the treasure of many French Kings and Bourgeois invested on it, with lots relatively more number of famous Artists and Architects etc.
Off-discussion: I've visited Paris once, but heck maybe London looked a little better in early 20th century, but Hitler bombers ruined most of the city.
I think they have multiple ones that work on separate titles so they can pretty much release one yearly, like what's done with CoD.
Yep. Though I guess one could make the argument that they're stretching there talent pool pretty thin branching off like they do.
I bet it will suck. Badly
Not going to buy another AC Game after unity unless i hear its goty. Rogue was a 100 times better than unity i must admit.
So Is Assassins Creed the new Call of Duty now?

Assassins Creed games are now as assured to happen as the spring, a Call of Duty game and Varg releasing a progressively worse then the last album.

How are these developers not burnt out yet?
How are players not burnt out yet? How many more AC games are gonna come out before players say "Oh hey, I'm actually kind of tired of these games. Can we have something less repetitive now?"
I'll imagine Bloodborne will provide the more memorable Victorian setting (well pseudo-Victorian) that will exist in a game that releases playable at launch.
