Pfft, 19th century London (Industrial Freak) ain't better than 18th century Paris.

Even in Architecture England is inferior to France.

I predict this Franchise will reach dead end for the good soon (2 or 3 more ACs max).

Of course 19th century London was better than 18th century Paris, you didn't have to worry about someone wanting to chop your head off because you had the wrong playing cards!

To summarize the whole series, because reasons I'll explain at the end. All this is biased.

AC1: Clunky, and repetitive but you could tell it was just made to get a feel on the engine and mechanics.
AC2: Improved gameplay, better main character, and more mission variety.
Brotherhood: Kept all of 2s improvements. But added the city and assassins guild management stuff for a deeper experience. Also condensed the game area into just the City of Rome instead of multiple cities like the last two. In my opinion, the best AC game.
Revelations: Things started going downhill here. The tower defense stuff was terrible, and the hook blade was dumb. But it gave a satisfying conclution to Ezio and Altairs stories.
AC3: Extremely dumbed down the game mechanics. To the point where most of the game felt like it was playing itself at points. Boring main character, and that god awful Washinton DLC filled with magic bear stomps. The bow was nice though.
AC4: Dropped the pretense of Assassining and just became a pirate game. Which I think is fine. Least I found it fun.
Unity: A broken, glitchy mess surrounded by an endless assault of controversies.

Victory I think will ultimately decide ACs continued longevity as a franchise. So they better try to make it as good as they can.

I liked the thing that let you fly that was pretty cool.

I played through King Washington when I was sick with the Flu and was delirious. That magic animal stuff honestly made me question if I had started hallucinating.

Come to think of it, I'm sure London will be the best city in the series. Places like Westminster, Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, St Pauls Cathedral, The Royal Albert Hall, the Tower of London, as well as countless more huge museums, colleges, galleries, cathedrals, and other buildings. It will of course be a condensed down version of London (these places are too far apart in real life), but nevertheless, it should be fantastic if they can pull it off, unlike Unity. It is also the first location they've ever done where they have photographic visual references, which I'm sure will make it even more authentic.

You have to understand that London by that point had been the capital city of nearly half the world for 200 years, the spectacular amount of wealth flowing through meant that huge, exquisite structures and monuments sprung up almost weekly throughout the 19th century. 18th century Paris didn't have anything on Victorian London, in terms of architectural achievements.

You need your glasses man! I said Connor!  ^_^  Though Haytham was the best villain I've seen in a long time.
