Apparently today is the twentieth birthday of the PS. What was your first experience with a Playstation?

My dad got a PS1 in '96 or '97. I remember the first game I played was Tomb Raider.

Never got one. I wish I had a PS3 in 2006-2010 period when PC games were extremely boring.

I got a PS2 when they first came out in North America. Didn't end well and I've never gotten a Playstation since.

My PS2 was chipped and I literally had hundreds of games to play.

Mostly Japanese, but I still had so much fun.

PS3 was a bit different for me. I only bought a few games for it and I never bothered to use any custom firmware. Gran Turismo 5, Gran Turismo 6, and Idolm@ster 2 were the games I played the most.

My room-mate had one, I played FF7 on it. I was instantly reminded why I loved parts 1-3 so much. (And RPGs in general)

*quietly reminisces about the 90s*

PS1 goes hand in hand with my first apartment, lot's of life lessons learned. Still a Playstation fan, that first apartment not so much. Jet Moto was my first game then it's a blur. FF and Square Games Resident Evils and Silent Hill, Metal Gear. Way too many to list.
