Yep, but it somehow got more episodes and renewed for a second season. Meanwhile, Constantine gets stuck with 13 episodes, and is likely getting cancelled in May.


NBC is a major network, they expect their shows to do better. Gotham is rating well enough for Fox. Fox has been treating it's shows better lately.

Probably because the critics love Hannibal, I don't think Constantine is getting the same.

Other factors like International distribution also come into factor.

Hannibal airs on a lot of countries and has gathered a lot of critical acclaim from varying sources. In the UK it airs on SKY Living which is owned by Rupert Murdoch ( Owner of FOX ), and has quite the following.

To the best of my knowledge Constantine doesn't gave any International broadcast deals, at the very least, no one in the UK or Ireland is showing it.
