BIOWARE, if your monitoring the posts. It would be awesome if we had someway of inspecting each others gear and viewing other players base stats. As it stands right now you really can't tell how well equipped someone is when they join your group. The only way to judge someone who is has played a day or a month is by looking at their portrait or banner. I want to see what kind of damage they bring to the party or what upgrades they have on their armor.

Pretty pretty please......

This is pretty much the first thing I looked for PUG game 1. Sad it wasn't there.

Rather than invite all the kicking that would result, perhaps the game should require base stat thresholds before it lets a player create or search for a lobby of a higher difficulty -- and also prevent the lobby leader from changing the difficulty to a level the group is not qualified for.

Or maybe there are better uses of development time.

Or unequip your banner and title when you prestige, drop into your low tier armor and pretend to be a noob. Run in, aggro everyone, run back like you're in fear. Never Barrier, etc. Then just wreck face on wave 4 and 5. I know what I'm doing tonight.

ME3MP allowed players to view their equipped gear in the least and the consumables equipped. Gear and weaponry were also very key in ME3 as it is in DAMP. From my personal experience, I have not seen much lobby kicking except when someone decides to do their tax return in between games. At least allow us to see the weapons other people are using. It would be nice to allow players to view the variety of weapons out there aside from what we ourselves can collect. Also, I find it ironic that we're asking to see other player's stats when we can't even see our own character stats (hopefully the dev team is planning to address that in the future) when the single player does a very nice job at presenting that information.

Which sorts of stats are you referring to? Which screen(s) in SP are you referring to? ( just so I can get an idea )

For example, in single player you are able to see the numerical stats for willpower, cunning, dexterity, constitution, strength, etc. Below that, there is another screen that details exactly how those stats translate. I will try to attach the images exactly as I see them as they do a very nice job at presenting the information which I think many would appreciate in the multiplayer.

stat_page_2.pngstat_page_1.png

There is also a defensive section where it displays your maximum health, maximum guard, your armor rating from the front, and your resistances. I would also add that picture but I think I've taken enough space in this single post for images. At this moment, those stats are very much hidden to the player and are only briefly mentioned within the skill trees where we never see a definitive stat sheet that encompasses all those passives in action.

Jesus, something like this in the MP would be a godsend, even more so if it could be viewable from the HQ

Why aren't mp stats visible like that? I don't care about others, just mine.

If you go to "Character Records" in SP and then to "Attributes" you can see all of your base stats(str, mag, con etc) as well as derived stats such as Attack, Crit Chance, Armor Penetration, Melee/Magic/Ranged Defense etc. MP has no such screen however, only the base Con/Cun/Wil and promotion bonuses. Some users have started deriving stats and such based on how base stats modify derived stats in SP, but players being unable to look at things like how much HP/Mana we have without dying and observing in the Fade, or being able to look at Crit Chance when we have a plethora of abilities that trigger on critical hit has been a bit frustrating.

You just want more reasons to kick strangers. I'm on to you, mister.

As someone who played Mass Effect 3 multiplayer for over 600 hours, believe me when I say this is a MUST.

Here's my manifest as proof: http://social.biowar...yn&platform=ps3

I'm not looking to kick people who are a little undergeared. I'm looking to kick first time players from Gold/Platinum difficulty since their level 1 common guns (and level 1, so powers aren't even reallyon the table) will be completely useless. A maxed out Avenger takes an entire clip to drop things like Husks on that difficulty, but they're not even maxed! At that point, they're literally just leeching us for the credits, because they can't contribute. And we'd rather have players who actually manage to do anything. If I wanted to solo, I'd go solo to get the Lone Wolf challenge completed again. I want to play with others, and these players can't even contribute. On the flip side, a level 1 with good guns is at least viable; they just have less points in their powers and such.

Likewise, I did try Perilous difficulty with 2 friends who said they could likely handle it, and we kept getting a bunch of level 1s joining that we were kicking. How are we to know if their weapons are 50 dps or 250? They could still be viable, for all we know. On the flip side, what if a level 20 managed to never get an upgrade for that class's weapon, and was still using the Inquisition stuff? (Entirely possible; I barely get any staff upgrades. I had a 180 DPS 1h mace before I got a 40 DPS staff) That level 20 would be less desirable than the level 1.

Please, we do NEED a way of checking an ally's gear. Because higher difficulties = higher rewards, and everyone wants higher rewards.

I don't care either way about inspecting other people, but a proper stat screen like the one in SP is number one on my MP wishlist. To me, it's more important than bugfixes and balance changes.

There are more improvements to be made to MP before you add something that is potentially elitist and would result in poor gameplay quality for new users.

I think it would be a massive kick fest for new players, especially since they have no REAL progression. Another suggestion would be to add 'how many times you prestige' on your banner when in a lobby until DAMP sees a real sense of gear-progression this would just be completely pointless.

I am someone who has been kicked from lobby because of being low level (despite having a few BiS items). I am not sour towards them because they are only assuming.

Agreed, the loot system has to take priority over viewing people's gear because it would be quite unfair to make people seem like noobs just because RNG won't give them a good rare/unique sword after 200 chests. In me3mp, a common weapon was still ~75% as viable as an ultrarare, whereas in this game the starting weapons are ~20% as good as high level uniques and result in death because you can't kill enemies before they reach you or really run away effectively. There was always the possibility that the low rank N7, rank 1 common weapon with no upgrades, low level player would dominate the scoreboard in gold. There would be no such possibility in da3mp.

I'm really not wanting an excuse to kick people but I do feel like we should be able to inspect each other's gear before running harder difficulties. I generally do the missions with the same group of guys and we would really like to inspect each other's gear we are wearing. I'm also an advocate of the stat sheet that single player has being implemented into multiplayer.

I said possibility, even if small, because Me3MP depends significantly less on quality of equipment and more on skill. If someone knows how to aim at the enemies' head and has mastered the cover mechanic from playing other FPS or a lot of Me3SP, he can have enough damage to score much higher than your average player.

Perilous mode is the only mode currently that should have an item level requirement, like dungeons on WoW.

WoW is restricted by character levels and not equipment levels. That wouldn't really work in this game because people can prestige and go back down to level 1 with good equipment. I would just like perilous to be worth it to run. Thus far I have seen more items drop  but it still follows the same rng rules and generally gives scrap items.
