Who are those Bill and Ted chumps?
Is this some Dr. Who? Seriously, who outside the UK watches that stuff? Mkay, apparently they aren't from Dr. Who at all but from some movie. Same deal in the end.
I want real people or classical myth characters ... the kind of personas you recognize without being a niche connoisseur. I don't see a rap battle between Sailor Moon and Madoka or whatever too.
What happened to matches like Tesla vs Edison? Too historical or what?

Wrong on both accounts.
@Fidite Bill and Ted are totally excellent. Also a lot of people outside the UK watch Dr. Who so......
Not in continental Europe at least.
But eh, what's done is done and I'm long since come to terms with mainstream media not aligning itself well with my preferences, hence why I don't watch TV, don't even have a TV to start with really and if this Bill and Ted is supposed to be such a great movie, eh ... no big loss, I lived without it until now, I'll live without it in the future.

Okay that's nice but it doesn't change the fact that thousands to possibly millions know who Bill and Ted are. I mean they weren't that popular, but enough for them to be knocked out of the "niche" realm. In fact on the topic of ERB almost every single one of there videos contains recognisable figures. Many if not most from history/ mainstream world wide media and popular culture. Also a majority of these figures are voted by viewers. So on the case of them being enjoyed by a "niche connoisseur": Argument invalid.Wrong on both accounts.

In addition, the fact that their first battle out of the gate was Adolf Hitler versus Darth Vadar shows that from the very start they weren't too concerned with sticking with historical figures, either. For every Jean d' Arc vs. Cleopatra, you'll have a Gandalf vs. Dumbledore.

It was John Lennon vs Bill o' Reilly actually.
Okay ... if we analogize me not getting Bill and Ted equals the point flying in a chartered jet over my head, then this right here is a point that's riding an ICBM at maximum altitude, circling over my position to go drop a MIRV confusion bomb cluster right on my noggin.
Please explain.

Not much to explain.
Vader vs. Hitler wasn't the first one. This was.

Not enough accent, but otherwise pretty good. Very good beat, but not as downright epic as the one from Houdini vs Copperfield.
And because the latter wasn't linked yet:
Houdini has some nuke-level burns on Copperfield, oh boy.

Now that's one to my liking.
Bit of a shame they diluted the cast with so many philosophers though, I would've preferred if the respective philosophies had more presence, rather than merely tangible references being made.

Psssh. Dostoyevsky schooled them all without needing to drop a verse.
