So all throughout the game, every decision I have made seems to be contrary to what Cassandra likes.

 

I say I'm not the chosen one... I side with the mages, etc, etc... I am level 11 and just got Skyhold, I am also about to start using Blackwall as my tank over her since he gets the Champion tree... So she already hates me and isn't going to be with me when I talk to people from now (which I guess is both good and bad since she has hated everything else I have said so far if that is any indication of her reactions to what I say later)...

 

Anywho... I am not interested in the other romance options and I can't get the conversation going any farther with her right now.  I know I am early in the game, but my earlier playthrough before I lost my save where I was just as much of a religious zealot as she is, chose the Templars, and all that jazz, I got pretty far in the romance dialogue at the same point comparatively...

 

So yeah, are there methods of raising affection outside of the normal channels later?

Usually doing their inner circle quests but if she hates you too much to even give you her inner circle quest you might have to drag her around and do something she likes.

 

Or ignore her entirely.

 

Keep in mind that major plot choices tied in with the story could still yield approval/disapproval regardless of who is or is not in your party not to mention judgements on the throne.  I quoted a history book option to the Wardens in a casual conversation before making any major choice and Solas disapproved and he wasn't even in my party.  My sidefrown probably reached him back in Skyhold.

 

EDIT: But no there is not currently gifting and hopefully they don't feel the need to add another Feast Day Gifting DLC like they did for Origins.

'Gifts' are now quests within a romance line - for example, making a necklace out of a Dragon Tooth for Bull.
