Holden, difference between me3mp weapons is that I have used them all. I'm never going to equip my level 6 bow & my assassin can't try out the 2 handed sword.

Although ME3 MP characters technically have 3 powers, they also have innate melee (2 types), dodge, and most importantly, gun variety.
Not all characters have dodge, and indeed, my very favorite doesn't, but the playstyles are more dynamic and varied.
Hard cover and regenerating shields also allow for soloing

Camping waves on small locations sure was fun...
Enjoying Damp a lot more than I did with Me3 during the first month of its MP.
Both MP beats Destiny though.

Yeah. Whenever I get down on DAMP I try and remember how ME3MP was during its first couple of months and how far it came in the span of the year.
