Is it one cap for weapons and another cap for accessories?

Or do weapons and accessories both count towards 1 inventory cap?

How do upgrades count towards the cap? Do they have their own or is it combined with weapons and accessories?

Crafting materials?

What happens if we have more items than the cap allows and we turn the game off?  Does the game randomly decide what item to delete?  Does it take away your most recent item? your lowest level item?

Is this information listed anywhere?

From what I've experienced you won't be able to craft or purchase any chests until you clear space.

was wondering about that.  I routinely salvage weapons I do not plan to use, so have not run into this cap yet.

Hi

They have speak about it in one stream before the launch of the game.

The cap is 200 items.

If you have 199 items and you buy a large chest, you don't loose item but after that you can't buy another chest until you have salvage some items

For my experience, it seems upgrade like arms or feet count in the limit, so i think runes count too

For sure accessories count too

So be sure to keep only the best items and salvage the others and keep in mind an weapon can be equiped by all the character that have the ability to use it

So if you have the same weapon, with same stat twice, salvage one ;)

Everything in your inventory except potions count against the limit. As Jane_Shepard said the cap is around 200. I'm surprised anyone has hit the cap!

I like to save and splurge. I reached the cap once and was like "Aww!". Never again!

Well, I stopped salvaging armor upgrades. Untill I upgrade all classes to thier tier2 I will do that I guess.

Weapons are easy, as only 3 sets are required.

Runes below Master are also just for salvage.

Accessories are no problem for me, as after 2 weeks of farming I only dropped 2. A white ring and a belt.

And in one DAY, a guy I played with dropped 5 rings. RNG. Damn it.

After saving up 95k gold to test my luck, I hit the cap I believe 2-3 times whilst doing this.

Another reason why armour should be salvageable.

Well, I stopped salvaging armor upgrades.

I can't seem to "find" enough clothes without salvaging armor upgrades.

Cloth is a pain for sure. Especially for Necro, my first craft I really wanted. And the upgrade.

Now that I have those, all the rest seem easy mode to me xD

So... crafting materials? What are we supposed to do, craft and salvage junk to stay below the cap?

Ah yes, thank you Crusader. Sorry about that. Materials, Schematics, and Potions don't count against the limit.

Do armors?  Those can really take up a lot of space once you have them all (and I have almost all).  base armor + 3 color changes + base t2 + 3 color changes x 12 classes 96 inventory out of 200 taken up by armors, not to mention future tier upgrades, additional classes etc? :o

That's actually a good question. I guess those should not count, but I somehow think they all actually do count ^^

Ya'll have made a good point, and successfully raised my eyebrow of cunning + 1. I'm following up with the team to see about a strategy to make the cap more manageable.

Did the inventory cap on consumable items at least get established so you don't get 4 potions of healing on a single chest every time you buy one? Ordinarily I wouldn't ask, but there's no sodding end to them and the ME3 cap was limitless with specialized rounds among other things and crippled the store system after a while.

I hit the cap, because I have most of the armors crafted already. and I am still looking for weapons for my characters, so breaking them down isn't a priority but finding lvl 20-23 rare/uniques weapons is

I am pretty sure the armors count and the default weapons.

Any chance that at some point we will be allowed to salvage armor ? Maybe even get some cloth doing so?

I don't see the point, unless they add more variations to them. If not by appereance, than just stats. Might come in future, maybe with newer classes.

I'd rather see a complete revamp of the armor system. Just making classes a drop/craft like they are, but without any armor attached.

THAN just bring the 3 armor classes (light, medium, heavy) that everyone would use...

Just... So much more sense?

The game already feels like only few items are really in multiplayer, with white trash (lol) added just to fill the empty space.

Armor really should not count towards the 200 inventory cap. I am crafting all of the tier 1 appearances because I don't have anything else to do with the crafting materials.
