Is the spell "blizzard" for mage broken? i tryed this out and most of the times the spell turns "red" when it suppose to show cooldown and count out so you can use it again. When it turns "red" it never go off cooldown... So i had to rebuild my character since this spell clearly don't work as it should :\
Please fix it.
I had the same thing occasionally happen with other sustained skills - Spirit Mark and Shield Wall. The effect stops only after the character runs out of stamina or the effects time is eneded naturally.
Blizzard doesn't have a cooldown. When you cast it the spell will remain active until you either deactivate it or you run out of mana
I had the same problem with my mage, where the Blizzard icon would get "stuck" on active if my character's mana ran out while the spell was active. My immediate work-around was to make sure always to deactivate Blizzard manually before my character's mana ran out. Once I unlocked my specialization, though, I re-specced out of ice completely; I've been much happier with lightening spells.
I clicked this thread half expecting to read WoW got DDOS attacked...again.
