- I'm looking for games that have 1 of everything so we can get all the treasure.
- I'm looking for players that aren't braindead ****heads.
- I'm looking for games that actually WORK and don't bug out.

Apparently even 2 of the 3 above is waaaaaaaaay too much to ask for.

 

- The below do not count all my parties I dropped into that had 3 of the same thing (aka 90% of them.)

 

- I join a game with 2 legionaires and a hunter. I join as my Necromancer. Hunter drops. LOLREAVERJOINS.

 

- I join a game with a Templar, a Keeper, and an Assassin. I get the bugged "can't move" entrance.

 

- I join a game with 2 Archers and a Keeper. I use my Templar. Irredeemably idiotic archer makes me ragequit.

 

- I join a game with a Legionaire, Elementalist, and Hunter. Bugged Boss wave. Don't survive host migration.

 

- I join a game where the first thing I hear is someone calling people racist terms. I tell him off and leave.

 

- I join a game with all 4 players willing to change. Unfortunately two of them had their heart set on trying to get 4 of the same class, and turned on their mics to shriek at us for contiuing to change away from their antics.

- I join a game with a Reaver, a Necromancer, and an Assassin. I get infinite loading screen'd.

- I join a game with someone mashing for us to gather while we're already gathered and I'm already getting the door. I politely ask him if he can stop since it serves no purpose in that scenario. Pit-of-the-anus starts spamming it more just to spite me. I leave since he's level 1 anyways and I'm not carrying a freaking troll.


I have been playing for 14 hours on and off (Left to go to the pharmacy to get a prescription filled out, among other small errands. Probably 8 hours of actual game time) and have completed enough games to still count on one hand in that time.

Yeah that's bad luck.  But I'm not nearly so picky.  I roll with any combination of classes.

I played with 3 elementalists the other day. Was worried about it and we didn't clear. But it was pretty insane being inside 3 fire storms at once. I thought my tv was gonna fall off the shelf.

My problem is right now I just can't connect to any sessions at all. I keep getting a connection to the session lost on any match I try and join.

OP, that totally sucks.  Haven't it that bad myself, but definitely have had the odd twit who runs ahead and gets killed quickly, or attacks and runs back to the group after we've opened a room.

 

Bummer Sidney.  I also sigh a bit each time that happens.  It tends to happen mostly if I choose 'random' but also sometimes if I choose a specific map.

 

Also, the odd time CTD (this is on XB1).  Logged in yesterday after work and was in inventory to manage things, and about 5secs in CTD.  It doesn't happen often though.

You should have tried 4 Fire Storms. That is just epic on so many levels.

Joins someone else's game. Complains when it doesn't go his way.

 

 

Don't mean to be rude, dude, but if you want control over your team, create your own scenario or don't PUG. I understand better than most that it's difficult, I ~only~ PUG, but I go into that knowing what I'm in for. Exception being the buggy runs, that's just ridiculous any way you cut it. I feel like the one where you can't move after loading in is happening more often lately, too.

Yah, totally, host your own game, and get disconnected from session the moment someone join, so much better than getting D/C in other people's game right? Pfft...

I can't join a game. When I search it just infinitely searches until I exit to Xbox home.

At least you can actually play. I had these for 11 consecutive search:

 

- 4 Connection Lost

- 2 Host Migration failed

- 2 Spawned below map so had to quit

- 3 Invisible enemies

The worst is this wouldn't be a problem at all unless you want to open the doors.

 

The "trinity" is only required for gold, not gameplay. That's a really bad design.

Yeah, I was gonna say something similar.

 

I seem to be at a 50/50 or 60/40 odds that when I hit "Quick Match" searching for a random Routine game, I actually make it to a lobby. A lot of times, I get a "you have lost your connection to the game" message and once that starts, there is no joining anything. Will usually have to reboot the game (or sometimes reboot the whole PS4) before it decides to actually put me in a lobby. Or I'll go back to my single player campaign and try again later.

 

But it's really a let-down when you're in the mood to DAMP and you just can't get any lobbies to load (and when this happens, hosting your own lobby doesn't help because nobody ever joins).

 

It's not my connection, either. I have zero problem joining or hosting ME3MP matches on my PS3 and have had no problem hooking up with people on Destiny on my PS4, so my Internet and router settings are fine.

I am functionally unable to play MP at this point. I can't join games. I get a lost connection message if I say join>random location. If I specify a location to join it actually creates a session and no one ever joins(and yes I check to make sure I wasn't being stupid and selecting create as opposed to join).

I tried to join a routine game the other day. The quickmatch service found none.
I wouldn't even know minded what class I played.

Ended up soloing for a bit to grind out at some xp and gold until it CTD'd. On the bright side I now have a level 4 keeper.

At least MP was thoroughly tested in house with top of the line gigabit switches.
