I feel the story and characters was more sparse in this game.

Don't get me wrong. What little they had was good. Bio ware puts alot of effort into story and Characters.

But while i felt Mass effect 3 expanded on it's story aspects.....it seems dragon age has reduced it.

Even Skyrim, which is far less about story and more about being a character in the lore wandering around, isn't as focussed on forcing you to craft. you can spend all your time ignoring black smithing, doing well just exploring the world.

in this game, they less cut scenes, less banter, to even just survive you have to scavange all the time to make weapons or die easily.....on easy. D

Dragon age 2 had many faults, but it was rich in character interaction and quests. Even the romance was more dynamic, as you could have rivalry romance or friendly romance. You can romance the same character twice and have different experiences.

The focus was more on the story and people, and we got to see more of the qunari upper authority etc. You didn't
wander thewounded coast hoping to find something to kill the dragon so you can see the cutscene regarding Hubert and his Ferelden workers.

You levelled up, the game provided weapons good enough, it happened, you saw the story, and could rspond either way.

hell Hubert was just a SIDE QUEST and yet......even this SIDE QUEST had great character moments.

In inquisition....the side quests do NOTHING for the story. N

No elf girl saved from the serial killer, and then the fall out with it.

No prostitute mind controllers.

Nothing like that.

Sure bioware....if you wanted to be like skyrim go ahead. But keep your

 good points, don't diminish them.
