Program Files (x86)\\Mass Effect 2\\BioGame\\Config\\PC\\Cooked\\Coalesced.ini
MouseSensitivity=1.0
.....
bEnableMouseSmoothing=true
If you edit the file with a text editor it will make the game crash on startup, but i think this is what needs to be edited to sort out the sensitivity.

This is solved by using Notepad++ to edit the file, at least for me. Mouse Smoothing is not a particularly massive issue, but 1.0 is a ridiculous multiplier for mouse sensitivity in a PC shooter. I'm currently running it at 0.4 and its still pretty high.

They really need to address this in the first patch. With the camera setting on low, it is still WAY too high and while turning down the dpi on the mouse can make combat better, it makes the cursor extremely slow in the when selecting talents or while in the menu.

^^^^ Yes! Notepad++ works for editing the file, without messing it up. This will let you change the value of MouseSensitivity=???? to (what I have set it at) 0.4
PLEASE make a backup of the file before you start messing with it! Even though Notepad++ does allow it to work with certain tweeks, it will still mess up the startup of the game if you change something that the game doesn't enjoy. To fix it, all you have to do is simply change the value back to the original one, however without a backup, or a good memory, you may end up having to reinstall when you can't seem to put those values back.
Thank you.

Somewhat playable now after lowering the setting, there still seems to be massive negative mouse accel though. Gonna try to play with the smoothing settings a bit and find something that'll help.
Have to say I'm pretty disappointed I figured that by now bioware would've gotten this right with a PC release :\\

Any other suggestions? I cannot stand the mousesmoothing and the sensitivity is way too high for me.
edit: So now it works if I only change the sensitivity value. Switching benablemousesmoothing=true to =false still crashes the game on load and this is just as important to me.
