I wish I could have/craft the royal blue robes with the bitchin' belt and white fur detail on the skirt.

 

I also wish the unique ancient light elven armor I found in the Exalted Plains were a schematic so I could upgrade it as my Inquisitor levels. It's the nicest looking armor I've found so far in my 1 1/2 playthroughs.

 

I don't know if you still check this thread - but there is a schematic.  It drops off one of the high dragons in Emprise during the breeding grounds quest.  I think the first one?

 

It is a tier 3 schematic and actually very good. Not quite as good as the upgradeable ones but definitely end game worthy.

imo mage pants are far better then the robes in look way more awesome then any robeor should i say dress .

Maybe on guys....but on girls the way it was done makes them look frumpy. Now, if they had done mage pants the way they had with Vivienne, where it accetuated the female body, I'd be perfectly fine with the pants.

As I keep saying, this is by far the best Bioware design choice. Unfortunately they ran out of time and had to reuse DAO and DA2 models for other stuff. But like the GW mage armour, losing robes was one of the best moves yet design wise.
