Ok, so I worked my way clear to the top of the fort. Shut off the "laser" fire thingy, opened the doors and now the guard won't let me in... What did I miss??

What do you mean by won't let you in? You talked to him and he doesn't let you in? Have you tried different dialogue choices? Do you have Cassandra with you?

He gave me no dialogue wheel. He just says:
"We can't just let anybody in."
Yes have Cassandra w/ me.
It's like it's stuck and won't go no farther...Acts like I did something out of order and won't complete so I can get into the area and talk w/ the guys to finish.

It seems like you are in combat or something. What does the quest log say? Try saving and reloading. You should be able to start a conversation with the guard.

GOT IT...
first time thru I went so fast the last pack of spawns hadn't came and it hung quest...slowed down and it worked this time...

Stuck in quest also. WTF Bioware did you even test this mission? If you did HOW COULD YOU MISS THIS. Spent 20 minutes making my way all the way up the keep only to have the guard glitch out at the gate and not let me complete the quest.

Did you use the big wheel thing to open the door?
(I didn't had Cassandra with me and still got in no problem)
