I am playing a warrior (sword and shield). I have completed for war room quest to have special training for the Inquisitor. The 3 trainers that showed up are for the 3 rogue specializations. Is this a bug or am I missing something? When I first click the quest in the war room only Leliana is available for the quest - Josephine and Cullen are locked out. I click the quest with Leliana then the quest is available again, this time only Cullen is available - so I click the quest with Cullen. Then the quest disappears from the war table. Any advice, etc is much appreciated.

There is a known bug that can make some parts of the game think you're a rogue (sometimes also female or human if you're not). I think this is connected to that. You should be getting the quest only from Cullen. The only fix I know of so far is a way to prevent it during character creation, which is probably not going to help you at this point.

*shrugs*
I've seen several people mention this bug but no solid answers ever came of it.
My advice would be to load a previous save and give it a shot again, and if that fails, go with one of the rogue trainers and ld let us know what happens when you do that quest ![]()
Quite frankly a warrior with some of the rogue specializations would be terrifying.

It turns out that I have been sent the trainers for rogue and warrior!! I just did not find the warrior trainers before. For anyone with this bug, I did find a way to fix it without going back. Before clicking the quest for training, I gave Leliana a different quest so that she would be busy. Then I clicked the Inquisitor trainer quest and only Cullen was available for the quest. Since I played for a few hours after initiating this quest, I have decided to stay with the 6 trainers and go with one of the warrior specialties. I do hope the devs see this thread because this is a major bug that needs to be fixed.
