The armor part options and paint jobs you can do on the default N7 armor can make it look waaaaaaaay better than Inferno/Collector/Terminus armor. And you don't have to wear a helmet for that.

Have to agree. I paid extra for the CE version just so I could get the armor. Talk about QQ'ing, that's not the issue. It is the idiot that sat there and said "Cool, let's make special armor to entice people to spend more for a CE edition and damn, let's make it so they can't customize a single part of it...that would be awesome!". Seriously...can't remove helmet, can't change color, can't add jack. Glad I shelled out the extra cash for a half assed skin...thanks EA. EA, it's in the game...or not.

Ok, and if they HAD let you take off the helmet, you could optionally look like a collector, or just use the armor and still be able to see your face if that's what you wanted to do. See how one way, you're forced to do one thing, but the other you have options and can decide which you like the best? 

This is called "Good design". Shoehorning players into using the whole set or none of it is a horrible idea. Remember in ME1 how any armor could have helmet or no helmet? So at some stage, somebody sat down and actively decided to screw us over by doing this.

You should be able to remove the helmet, the armor is still on you.

The purpose of the armor is NOT to look like a collector but to use their technology, the armor do look like them a bit.
The helmet doesn't really, the collectors have multiple eye's and huge heads.
In any case why the hell shouldn't we be able to remove the helmet, ME 1 had it.
Why would I walk around with a fricken helmet for hazardous conditions on inside the fricken citadel etc?
Would you walk around with a motorcycle helmet on inside a mall?

No you would still wear your bike gear but the helmet would come off.
Hopefully you can grasp that simple analogy.

Well this is rather disapointing.......

Little stuff like this makes me not want to pre-order exclusive stuff. Honestly  I hope they add a quick patch for this that would be greeat.

I love Bioware, but ever since they went to multi-platform, quick patch is funny. 2 months minimum just to change a game breaking thing.

It's a little bonus, they didn't have to include it. Many of you, myself as well, would have likely still spent the extra for the CE even if it weren't included. And if you wouldn't, seriously, that much extra for one armor set? Why?

Bioware ruined every single armor except the N7 customizable armor.

I bet they did it on purpose to people would use their little armor customization instead.

I can understand that , having that level of customization for all armors is not feasable since they are so different.
However not having a SIMPLE toggle for helmet on or off, is just plain amateurish.

Fail. Last I checked I spent my own money for a "Collector's Edition" that incorporated a touted special unique armor set, not a generic character skin. Excuse me if after finding out they did a half ass job on it I speak up on it. QQ? Nope. Pissed off, yep. You are grandstanding and missing the point, yep. This content was misrepresented to reel people in to pay more for something that disappoints by what is appearing to be the vast majority. Please keep your condescension to yourself instead of hugging EA's sack and promoting this garbage.
