I mean, seriously, this is who Varric has had his eye on this entire time? She's completely basic.

Lost a lot of respect for Varric, that he would actually go for someone so far beneath him. And it's like she threatens you at the end of her respective quest and I can't slap the **** out of her?

Varric may let that **** slide but I'm the gat dang Inquisitor, tell you hwat

I dunno, she's 4 foot, he's 4 foot, they seem around the same really.

Kira Carsen's VA though, that was a positive. Probably the only one.

Really? I think she's cute.

She and Dagna are both absolutely adorable.

Well, Uh, we only got 10? minutes of speech out of her. And I think 10 is stretching it.  We really know nothing about her other then Surfacer and Engineer and maybe former Love Interest of Varric.

I know, we all want some of that chest hair.

Exactly how do you figure she's beneath him?  Or basic?  That she dresses plainly when on a field op?  That's hardly bizarre.  According to Varric, she's an absolute genius smith and prankster.

They started a clan feud over their interest in each other, she was then married off to another man and they have continued their relationship off and on for a number of years behind his back. Varric hints they were going to get married but she didn't show up to the wedding. There's a lot more depth to the story than people give it credit for.

Basic as in she marries some other tool instead of Varric. She's already punching above her weight and for her to go do something like that is just churlish

Not to mention (MAJOR SPOILER)

Spoiler
. Would be really neat if she was our dwarf rogue companion next game instead of Varric.

Yeah, I really didn't like the death threat. My Inquisitor booted Sera right out of the Inquisition for her threat, why can't I smack this dwarf over for hers? And as Leo already explained why, she certainly needs a smacking.

I think he's actually a bit taller, I wonder if lady Dwarf inquisitor is smaller too?

Yeah I never quite understood why she made a death threat since it was her fault with the red lyrium bit. I actually thought there would be more to it but it seem that ended pretty quickly. The fact that she made mention of Larius being a mage which in Awakenings he didn't look like a mage to me.

Too bad there wasn't a Renegade interrupt to kick her in the face or something that would of have been epic!

Umm, I'm guessing that she still does love Varric even though she married that guy that was chosen for her and that she's being overly protective of Varric. I don't know the whole story, but it sure seems like their relationship is complicated.

Seemed like a fairly unsurprising response to me. She is in the wrong, and she knows it. So, like most people, she shifts the blame and topic to something that makes her feel safer. Something she feels she has a leg in. Personally, while I certainly didn't mind her she was rather lucky that Hawke had bamf'd off at that point in my playthrough. I don't think I had a single, canonical Hawke who wouldn't take an arrow for Varric - or hesitate to put Bianca in her place over all the grief she's probably caused him over the past decade. Justified or not, because again we really only saw the briefest glimpse of what happened between them all, it wouldn't have mattered. You also especially do not hurt her friend and then try to threaten another for having the simple potential of doing the same thing. However, logically all it would have done would have just dragged Hawke into the mess and made things worse if she was there or had any say in the matter. I like to headcanon that my Inquisitor had her rushed out of Skyhold as soon as they returned on some mission or request, just to give Varric the breathing room.

I loved her. I loved how complicated and human (well, you know what I mean) her relationship with Varric turned out to be. And I love that he's not actually suffering from Carth Syndrome, he just apparently likes to give that impression because his girlfriend married someone else and he can't let it go because he's loyal far past the point of stupidity. Oh, Varric.

The death threat was actually what tipped me over from 'I think I like this woman and I'm happy she's alive' to 'I love her and hope we see her again some time.' Despite everything, she obviously still cares. I wish there'd been an 'it's OK, I'll make sure he comes through this' response option.

I'm a little disappointed she's a dwarf... I was expecting a little more from our dashing rouge. Something like an elven princess, a noble pirate, but just another surfaced dwarf was a bit meh.

I'd actually forgotten about the threat.  I took that in stride...largely, I suspect, because its something I've actually done.  "If this person, even by accident, gets hurt, it's you I'm going to blame, and I'll make you pay."

What's wrong with a dwarf going for his own race?

I was initially disappointed in the fact that she's wearing the same hooded Carta-like outfit as most of the other hooded dwarves we see throughout the game, but given her reason for being there it's understandable.

To be fair. Hawke released Corypheus and plenty of other derp moment. Her ''death threat'' was not really one for me. More like teasing. Leliana also threaten the Inquisitor if you romance Josephine. Which I think was more serious than the threat of Bianca.

it was not so out of character for Leliana anyway. Seeing how she tried to kill the Warden if you taint the ashes of Andraste.

Oh man, this again. It's like there's never any point to explaining why this is wrong, especially when we discover exactly what Corypheus can do when we get to the arbor wilds.
