Okay, I'll try that tomorrow then.

Okay, that took a while. Anyway, I went and did the Western Approach part but the scene still won't play.
Alistair is still standing on top of the same tower and Morrigan is idle in the gardens with Kieran.

Is that not in there? If you go and get Morrigan and then begin the plot with the Grey Wardens, there is a period where Alistair or Loghain is potentially at Skyhold at the same time as her -- and there is a scene between the two of them if you go and speak to Morrigan. Might only be if they were involved in the Dark Ritual, I don't actually recall, but I don't think so.
Gasp! Really? I'll have to try to manipulate my game so that I can get Loghain and Morrigan in the garden together then. Unfortunately, though, I seem to have hit a bug with Morrigan that she thinks that a male Hero of Ferelden is Kieran's father, even though my Hero of Ferelden is a woman and Loghain is Kieran's father. So I dont know if the game would also bug out there or not.

Tried that and didn't work
. Started reloading and going through all the convos before that, then tried avoiding convos thinking maybe he'd show up in the cutscene with her son but nope. Couldn't get it to trigger. They're both in Skyhold, Loghain did the ritual but can't get anything. Maybe others have better luck.
Darn, I was hoping someone had figured it out. I haven't tried it yet, but I already anticipate it being bugged because of a previous bug I'm experiencing with Morrigan, which I think was caused because I stabbed her in Witch Hunt.... you didn't stab her in Witch Hunt by any chance, did you? ![]()

I returned after beating the Dragon in WA, still no scene.
Next pt I'm going to try and get Morrigan before Crestwood then.

You know, you would think Bioware would have something extra if you happen to have Morrigan, Alistair, and Leiliana all at Skyhold at the same time. Doesn't make sense that the three wouldn't acknowledge each other at all. Obviously they weren't all friends (well, neither was friends with Morrigan anyway), but they did travel together for months.
I read that Morrigans son gets to meet his father in my case it is Alistair but still not having him at skyhold is rather odd all I get are crappy war table missions from him >.> you have more dialouge with Alistair if hes a grey warden

Hmm so get Morrigan before Loghain. Interesting...

At least that's the only thing I haven't tried yet.

Has anyone actually managed to get the scene?
Edit. Nvm, apparently someone has. I wonder if I should have unlocked Crestwood only after recruiting Morrigan, because nothing happened for me. That's the only thing that I can think of having done wrong.

At the very least she mentions him if she's in Skyhold after he dies. Not really boken up over it or anything, but that was kinda expected.

She does? Because I got nothing out of her.
I was severely disappointed that I didn't get any interaction whatsoever. Not even a mention of Alistair from Morrigan.
If it turns out there really is something and I just didn't get to see it... I'll be disappointed as well.

I'm just disappointed Morrigan's breasts look smaller in DA:I than in DA:O.
Damn you Bioware!
Breastfeeding can do that. Remember, she's a mother now.

Well I met with Loghain at Crestwood and brought him to Skyhold, then directly recruited Morrigan and, like everyone else so far, I cannot seem to trigger a cutscene between Morrigan and Loghain. Oddly, though, the bug that I was having with Morrigan seems to be gone and she's referring to my Hero of Ferelden correctly now. Guess I'll have to try recruiting Morrigan before Loghain this time and see what happens.

It's way too easy to miss out on cool stuff in this game. I know everyone wants FREEDOM in their RPGs now, but a little direction in terms of optimal quest-sequencing wouldn't have hurt.

Yes during the winter palace, Leliana told me about Morrigan. she made it clear she did not trust or particularly like Morrigan. I assumened that was Leliana's experience from working with Morrigan in DAO. I can understand Leliana not likeing Morrigan. Morrigan's beliefs seemed the opposite to Leliana's although there methods maybe less so.

I did Crestwood before Halamshiral, and that was apparently not good. I'm about to do Adamant now, and neither Morrigan, nor Loghain have acknowledged each other.

I definitely think it was a missed opportunity.
And I don't think the excuse of not everyone played the first game works here either. You get plenty of exposition regarding Divine Justinia/Dorthea, the Seekers, Josephine's time at court, etc. So why not some exposition about the Hero of Ferelden? Why not some banter at the war table with Morrigan and Leliana? Why not a simple acknowledgement of Alistair as King or as a Warden?
Leliana, Morrigan and Alistair had some fantastic banter together and it would have been nice to get a small taste of it in this game.

I agree that it might have been nice for some of those things. But I think putting to much effort into the interactions due to events of a game that potentially a lot of players didn't see would be assuming to much. In other words, anyone that didn't play DA2 wouldn't have been able to get as much out of those interactions, and that would have left new players confused. The focus needed to stay on this game, not the past ones.
which chould have made them buy DA2 and DA:O to see why they where that way with eachother...
