Is that not in there? If you go and get Morrigan and then begin the plot with the Grey Wardens, there is a period where Alistair or Loghain is potentially at Skyhold at the same time as her -- and there is a scene between the two of them if you go and speak to Morrigan. Might only be if they were involved in the Dark Ritual, I don't actually recall, but I don't think so.

Has anyone managed to trigger this scene yet?

I got it to trigger tonight! On the Xbox One!

I did Here Lies the Abyss up until the Adamant Operation was on the map. Then I did Wicked Hearts. The first time I came back to Skyhold, I had a cutscene conversation with Morrigan (introducing her son), and when I clicked on her again, it went into her normal dialog wheel. So went to Crewstwood, immediately came back to Skyhold, and then went directly to the garden and Alistair was there!

This was in an Ultimate Sacrifice import, where my male dwarf Warden had romanced Morrigan.

Hm, maybe it's a bug on some platforms then?

Maybe it's as tall as he gets?

I'm kind of bummed that my Morrigan/Alistair Old-God baby and my Morrigan/Dwarf normal baby look exactly the same. Guess all of Morrigan's genes are 100% dominant....

I am glad that Bioware brought back the fan favorites from DA:O.

Yet sadly, the amount of interaction between the two was really minimal.

In fact, Leliana was uncharacteristically hostile towards Morrigan.

And Morrigan doesn't seem to even notice Leliana.

You'd think that having saved the world together you would at least catch up on old times...

At the very least, say something good or sarcastic about each other.

I was quite dissapointed too. I expected a bit more interaction between those two. Its like they dont know each other and I took both of them with me all the time in DAO.

  Do you not recall Leliana calling Morrigan a b**ch in Origins?  I actually haven't gotten to them being together yet in DA:I, but I would think any hostility from Leliana towards Morrigan would be quite in line with her historical attitude towards Morrigan.

Great! Thanks for sharing this!

But... strange. This is exactly the order in which I did the quests, and the equivalent scene with Loghain still never triggered. *playing on pc*

I'm starting to get the destinct feeling this is either buged on the PC or with Loghain. Since someone else in this thread said they had the Alistair scene.

No-ones uploaded it to youtube yet (aside from the audio) on pc with any of the 3 wardens so it could be all of them are bugged.

Wish there was a bit more content with them (could have cut the replacements for the people saved in haven)

I thought Alistair and Morrigan and Leliana were friends who just liked to bicker...

I mean Alistair slept with Morrigan. Why can't they just get along? :'(

Aww, that scene is so...Tarrsidath-am halsaam.

Did the Warden go through the mirror with Morrigan? My Warden did, but Alistair was made king. Morrigan commented on how she raised Kieran with his father for some time.

My Warden was dead - didn't do the ritual, so this is not-old-god-Keiren

Yeah, those two needed waaay more interaction seeing as they were former compatriots. Very disappointing.

I don't get to trigger this either.

PC platform.

DA:O: female Warden, Alistair did the ritual with Morrigan, Alistair stayed Grey Warden.

DA:I: first got Alistair from Crestwood, then went to the Ball and recruited Morrigan. Talked to both Alistair and Morrigan -- no mention of either of them.

Then met Erimond in Western Approach. Still no cutscene in Skyhold.

I find the Morrigan scenes the best scenes in DA:I. I would've really liked to see Morrigan introducing Kieran to his father. And I'd be really bummed out if I didn't get to see it because of a platform bug.

So can anybody help me? How and when is the meeting between Alistair and Morrigan supposed to happen? What exactly triggers it?

So Alistair is available in skyhold after crestwood and before the western approach quest, but only if he is warden and not a king or drunk. Morrigan is after the winter palace party. I would try triggering this after the winter palace and before going anywhere near western approach. I have not seen it personally, my finished playthrough had a king-alistair. Others are not this far yet.

Some of the companion conversations seem to be a bit random, some others happen every time at certain points in certain conditions.

If you romanced Leliana and then had the warden do the DR with Morrigan, she's actually really grateful that Morrigan saved her love's life.

She doesn't say that to Morrigan ofcourse, but she does tell the Inquisitor.

Like you I romanced Leliana and then did the dark ritual. I would have thought Leliana would be interested in the fate of her partners son.

Well, they were never besties in the first place, actually, they didn't get along at all even more so when Leliana falls in love with the warden

Ah Bioware... the undisputed overlords of the vast realm called 'Missed Opportunity'.  Really, I'm surprised so many expect diffrent from them at this point. I could list well over a dozen just like this one.

Hmm...

In my DAO pt as warden i romanced Morrigan and did the ritual with her, also i went through the eluvian with her. Sure i had other pt's but she seemed to most interesting to me at that time.

I do remember Morrigan mention something along the lines of : 'the HoF went on a journey, i would have gone with him but it wasn't a place Kieran could go so i stayed here with Kieran...' Since i always kill Loghain or Alistar kills him :P and Alistar mostly becomes king (Hardened) and or rule with Anora i would never get Alistar or Loghain in Skyhold or i'd need to get that fixed in the Keep..

Also i mostly have like tons of stuff done long before i even go to Winter Palace... so by the time Morrigan is in Skyhold the game is almost over.. I did get a trigger that she mentions a private letter and Lelliana not opening it or something i also think the HoF mentions her and Kieran in that letter.

I know BW isn't able to please everyone's wishes because what boggles my mind is that this is 10 years? after DAO/3? years after DA2? And apparently everyone is too busy to help out Hawke or the Inquisition even though the people in DA2 stayed together for what? 7 years?.. No one seems worried about rifts swallowing the world?

Only the li is mentioned by Hawke when you talk to him/her, family (when they are Grey Warden, what's left if any) is 'send away' i don't think Bethany or Carver would go away like that i was expecting to encounter Bethany or Carver at least depending on choices made, Bethany Circle mage or Carver as templar (Or even as Grey warden).

Where are the others from DAO/Awakening/DA2? Something like a letter would've been nice... Or some random encounter where you can hear Oghren burping through the woods :P

Well i found that very bizzzzare too! And if i remember well they did not hate each other at all, teasing each other in the beggening sure.

Why would Leliana keep contact with Zevran and The Warden and not with Morrigan?

How Leliana could ignore that Morrigan was the advisor of Celene? I would have expected a reaction!

Morrigan is a bit selfish or too much, but my inquisitor felt more having a weird familly reunion with people that don't stand each other. Oh Leliana was quite worried when Morrigan went troughout the mirror, the only reaction i had.

Plus why would they ask me to seek the warden, if he is not joinning the fight or helping, i just receive a belt from him.

It is another point that shows the game was unfinished. One of my rare regrets about DA:I was that.

I assume if you broke up with or stabbed her:

Alistair: at least you have Kieran
Morrigan: (hushed tone) I could have had them both

Ugh... I absolutely love Morrigan's character development especially when she has Kieran.
