I've only had four people to judge, but it's one of the fun parts of the game, though there are many.  I thought I'd keep track of them here and update as it goes:

1) The Goat Chief--Banished to Tevinter with weapons

2) Threw the guy in prison "like a common criminal" which really ticked him off.

If I can, I like to keep people alive in case I need them later.

3) The Adamant Fade mage just got brain-neutered ha ha, denying him death and any future troubles.

Again, he hated the "like a common" mage action.   LOL

4) The Templar Lady, Ser Rose, I took the special option and forgave her, she now has been a force

of good in the world, a party function I can choose at the war table.

That's it for now, time to go catch some more!  PS-Since I AM on a throne and rule like a king…where the hell is my crown?   :D

Edit 1:  I've only seen four myself, and eight (or nine) different ones on here, but I hope that's not all we get to do.  If it is, then that's a bummer.  Does anyone know how many maximum judgments we get?

Edit 2: D'OH!!  Some mages are rebelling because I tranquilled Eremond, so I have/get to go put that down!

Edit 3:  Finished Wicked Hearst, felt it should go here:  saved Celene, spared Gaspard to banishment, and while I wanted to execute Flio, I gave her to the guards.  I'll go back later and play where I kill her, just to see the court flip out!  100% approval, and an achievement for impressing the court!!

I think you mean Ser Ruth, who is a Warden. If so, I dunno how you took the special option because I'm not getting that one when I do it. It's just Deep Roads, public humiliation, won't judge a Warden, and imprisonment IIRC.

Lucky.

As for me I sent the Avvar chief to Tevinter as well. He was happy, and so was I. I had Leliana supply him because I want Tevinter on edge.

And when you say Adamant Fade Mage, do you mean Eremond? Why is it that I can't make him tranquil? Is this something you need one of the perks to do?

....well that's kinda stupid and arbitrary. I can see how a Mage would want it done but why wouldn't anyone else be able to if they had knowledge of arcane matters?

Bah, I'll just headcanon that my Cadash made him Tranquil anyway.

I must've made choices or friends that gave me those options, though Eremond being tranquil was a regular one (out of five options), while Ser Ruth was a STAR one, where I said as the Herald of Andraste, she is forgiven, go live a good life, which she does, same thing happens if you give her to wardens.  I get a lot of those STAR options, so I always take them.

Well, it's a great option cuz it REALLY ticks him off, ha ha.  Most everyone but Cole approves, too.  He seems to like only death punishments.

I made Erimond Tranquil at first, but I got so much disapproval from various companions I reloaded and let the Grey Wardens have him instead.

I feel like making him Tranquil is the only satisfying way to deal with him though! He feels like he's won any other way...

I heard you get a certain war table mission if you sided with the mages in Redcliffe and then make a mage Tranquil through a judgement? Can anyone describe it?

Maybe it's a bug? Certain special options are a result of Inquisition perks, such as history, magic, etc. The history one gives you "Crown" special options - which I could have used to make Florianne an agent of the Inquisition. Ser Ruth is a "Star" special option, so I am not sure why it would not pop up normally. It is related to you being the Herlad of Andraste and forgiving her on that account.

As for making mages tranquil, that may be offered if you have the Magic Inquisition perk, even if you are not playing as a mage. I'm not certain, though. It always brings such heavy disapproval that I never chose it. Though that Erimond douche certainly deserved it :P

Sent the Avvar Chief to Tevinter with a weapon.

I executed Alexius on the grounds that his selfishness had caused too much suffering to be forgiven. This earned me Dorian's disapproval but so be it.

I exiled the Mayor of Crestwood.

I sent Erimond to the block and took his life with my own hands.

Ser Ruth was given the warriors way out and ordered to head for The Deep Roads.

I wanted to give Ser Ruth a chance to atone, to set things right and not waste her talents. Too many Wardens had died by then, killing her accomplished nothing.

Just letting her go, however, was not an option. The Wardens messed up, what they did was wrong, regardless of their intentions, they had to see that, they needed that cautionary tale, and Ser Ruth demanded it.

Sending her to the Deep Roads? That's something all Wardens face. It is merely a truth of their existence, less so a simple punishment. Sure it would have sent a message, just not a very meaningful one. And disappearing into the deep roads would mean eventually people would forget about her. It's not a bad option, mind you. Seems fitting that the punishment for trying to circumvent the Calling would be to be forced into it sooner. But I just didn't think it would get there right message across.

Imprisonment was simply a waste. Waste of our resources jailing someone who does not need or deserve to be jailed. And it still felt like a meaningless punishment.

And so I went with public humiliation. To be denied everything that made her a Warden. She does not get to fight darkspawn, she does not get to protect people, she does not get to be someone to look up to. She gets to be an example to other Grey Wardens that their grim task demands respect, simply being able to do anything you must to stop a blight is not always reason enough to do it.

In the military they have a term for that. "Conduct Unbecoming"  The Wardens did not act as Wardens should, and so the fitting punishment for me was denying her the right to act as one.

That said I would hope that one day after baring her humiliation, Ser Ruth will manage to forgive herself just enough to return to the Wardens where she belongs.

There was only one guy who I actually killed, and I can't remember who exactly it was. But he was such an unapologetic douche bag that there was absolutely no reason that I could see to keep him alive. I made use of everybody else. I actually really liked how diverse and well-made the judgement system was. They always had the option I would have chosen in real life.

I only saw minor disapprovals, and since it's the only one that really ticked him off, and I didn't want him escaping prison, I spit in his face and sent him off to neuter-land!

How do you do this? Promoting Ser Barris? I didn't see that option ever  :crying:

Avaar goat dude: Cultural exchange with Tevinter

Alexius: agent of the Inquisition.

Erimond: made him tranquil. I was happy to do it. I'm pro mage, I am a mage and I've played mages 95% of the time throughout DAO, DAII and now DAI. BUT he deserved the worst punishment and he got it. Did not care about the disapproval ratings I had high approval with everyone (including Viv and Sera lol) so I didn't see any blatant damage with my relationships in my crew. The war table mission you get if you sided with the mages at Redcliffe and make Erimond tranquil is called "How Could You" and IIRC basically all the mages you freed and gave a come to jesus speech to are all "et tu Brute" about you, being a mage and the Quiz doing this to one of our own. So you have a few options to smooth things over or I suppose iron fist it. I just sent the Templar+Mage entourage to speak to the mages and explain why I did what I did and it worked out perfect.

Mistress Poulin: forced to work for the Inquisition (I regret this one I should have given her something else)

Ser Ruth: I sent her to the Deep Roads. I didn't want to and I hated to do it but I sent her to her own search for redemption. All the Wardens I have left- I want them to feel worthy of the order and I want recovery to happen (I kept them in Orlais) that can't happen if one of their own feels this way. There is another mission after you send her to the Deep Roads also and it's regarding transport- you have to make a decision on how to go about getting her there. I chose to send her to the Dwarves and join the League of the Dead IIRC.

Mayor of Crestwood: Exiled

Florianne: Box Tour!  B)

Thom Ranier: I haated to do this but he's going to the Wardens.  :crying:

Servis: couldn't find him? Idk where he is... :pinched:

Knight Captain Denam: I don't even remember him don't think I had the chance of judging him

Sampson: Cullen's research project, I regret that, I should have handed him over to Dagna. Next time!

-snip-

I was given this quest after a series of War Table missions involving Barris and the Templar Order... this may only be possible if you form an alliance with them, however... I'm not really sure.  Either way, the quest itself is glitched and you can't promote him until you have a pending judgement.  Otherwise, you don't get the option to sit on the throne no matter how long that quest is in your journal...

Anyway, I had pretty bad luck with judgements.  Most of the party disapproved of whatever I decided to do... I had the Avvar chief exiled, that wasn't good enough.  I had that Grey Warden put in prison... nobody liked that idea.  W/e...

From what I can remember...

Avvar Chief - exiled (not sent to Tevinter)

Mistress Poulin - pardoned

Mayor of Crestwood - exiled?  can't you kill this guy?  I don't remember... I think maybe I wanted to execute him but couldn't...?

Servis - executed

Erimond - executed... no idea why a mage would want to make someone Tranquil.  Mine certainly didn't...

Grey Warden Ruth - imprisonment

That's all I can remember...

edit:  Oh yeah, Florianne... I don't remember what happened to her remains, but it probably doesn't matter.
