I was given this quest after a series of War Table missions involving Barris and the Templar Order... this may only be possible if you form an alliance with them, however... I'm not really sure.  Either way, the quest itself is glitched and you can't promote him until you have a pending judgement.  Otherwise, you don't get the option to sit on the throne no matter how long that quest is in your journal...

Anyway, I had pretty bad luck with judgements.  Most of the party disapproved of whatever I decided to do... I had the Avvar chief exiled, that wasn't good enough.  I had that Grey Warden put in prison... nobody liked that idea.  W/e...

From what I can remember...

Avvar Chief - exiled (not sent to Tevinter)

Mistress Poulin - pardoned

Mayor of Crestwood - exiled?  can't you kill this guy?  I don't remember... I think maybe I wanted to execute him but couldn't...?

Servis - executed

Erimond - executed... no idea why a mage would want to make someone Tranquil.  Mine certainly didn't...

Grey Warden Ruth - imprisonment

That's all I can remember...

edit:  Oh yeah, Florianne... I don't remember what happened to her remains, but it probably doesn't matter.

You were almost doing good...

How do you do this? Promoting Ser Barris? I didn't see that option ever :(

Knight Captain Denam: I don't even remember him don't think I had the chance of judging him

Both of those judgements can only be Done by siding with the templars.
If you conscript them you will say " Knight-Commander of our templars" and "rise Knight-Commander barris", if you allie with them you say "Knight-Commander of the templar order" and "templars, will you accept barris as yours Commander?"

Adaar basically just beheaded everyone personally if available

Lavellan usually chose the wise/fair options, like making Alexius do research, making the mayor a warden, exiling the avvar to tevinter, etc, she made Erimond tranquil though cause **** that guy, wipe his mind clean

Trevelyan was an eccentric so I tried picking what would be funnier, like making Florianne her jester and putting the avvar in a gibbet

You can make the Mayor a Warden?

Yeah, provided you recruited the Wardens naturally.

It just one war table mission, and in the end they decide to calm down since my Inquisitor is a mage himself. I couldn't care less about my punishment to evil mage upsetting the Rebel Mage I just recruited. I saved their sorry hide, and if it weren't for me they'll be Cory's slave now. They should remember their gratitude to the Inquisition, and stop acting like a spoiled child.

My Judgements: Was a mage, but have not made any tranquility judgements.

Avaar Chieftain: Banished to Tevinter, with Leliana supplying them as follow up.

Alexius: Made him give his wealth to the rebel mages

Servis: Imprisoned (did not trust the guy)

Erimond: Personally executed.
Ser Ruth: Deep roads, with a follow-up of her joining the Legion of the Dead.

Mistress Poulin: Made to rebuild the town.

Mayor of Crestwood: Send him to the Grey Wardens.

Florianne de Chalons (box): Community Service (had to!) And I almost had her head on a pike as a follow-up, because of the Cullen´s operation comment, but opted for Leliana´s solution in the end.
Thom Rainer: Send him to the Grey Wardens.

Samson: Sent him to Kirkwall, mostly because I wanted Cullen to move on.

Agreed. Plus the damage Erimond delt to both the Wardens and their mages.............I think this is why tranquility was first created by mages to begin with.

Executed Alexius - Knowledge that can do that with magic shouldn't be out in the world, not even tranquil.

Banished Avvar with Swords - win/win

Servis - made an agent; he was looking for a new employer anyhow

Erimond - never got the chance

Ser Ruth - Deep Roads

Mistress Poulin - made a scribe

Mayor of Crestwood - exile

Florianne - convent

Thom - left him in jail

Samson - stuck him in a hole to let the lyrium take its course

@Blue_Shayde, nope, not according to Cassandra. It was created by the Seekers and given to the mages.

The thing with Erimond is, as my Inquisitors have both said at his sentencing, killing him only gives him something he wants. I won't tranquilize a mage, I think it's a horrible practice that must be outlawed and preferably the knowledge of how to do it lost, so I always imprison him. He will live the rest of his days in Skyhold's dungeon, knowing that the Elder One, his new god, is dead, and the only judgement he receives is to be forgotten.

That's amusing, cause in the war table operation after you sentence Erimond to tranquility, if you send a mage and templar, it states that your mage and templar go to talk to the complaining mages and remind them that this is why the mages created tranquility as a punishment.

Sounds like some conflicting information in the game.

how do you keep florian alive?

You'll need 85+ of court approval to expose her plan to the court, and you also need "Nobility Knowledge" perk so you can recruit her as an agent for the Inquisition.

No, it's in a super-secret book that Cass only gets access to in one of her personal quests. So it's not common knowledge and because there is a cure and the Seekers have known it all along it makes even more sense that everyone thinks mages have created it despite the truth.

Ok, I see. I just haven't gotten to that part in the story or lore, so my knowledge was that of a commoner. I bow to your 'greater' knowledge. :P

My favorite is making the barbarian study with the orlesian guy from the Templar quest. Abernach I think? Didn't know you could send the mayor to be a warden, gonna have to do that next time.

Pretty much all the same as my choices. The only things I did differently were:

Ser Ruth: I gave her what she wanted, a sentence of labour to serve as an example to others.

Florianne de Chalons: Made her my court jester!
