So i just wanna know if it's a bug or a feature. I know that Sera doesn't really like to be treated as elf, but does it make her able to use human-stricted armors? I'm playing as dwarf-rogue and i just found dalish rogue armor which apparently can't be used by anyone in my party.

The race restricted armor is just stupid in this game...

Actually, it make sense. I don't see why dalish would make armor of their own with a human sizes.

Yet we have a blacksmith who has no problem swapping the gender of gear?  How about that "robe" thats on solas being swapped over to Vivienne and suddenly its a flesh suit...

IE.. An "Elf" isn't that anatomically different from a human, so the blacksmith would just need to "let it out" some...

^ pretty much, we are suppose to have some of the best blacksmiths in both orlais and ferelden.. yet we cannot get one of them to modify a dwarven legion of the dead schematic to fit a qunari? Or how about a helmet reworked to allow horns to fit like in DA:2 with the Qunari helmets.

For things like that I just imagine in my headcanon that - Legion of the Dead Armor can only be worn by dwarves because its infused with raw lyrium - or That a Qun would feel shamed covering his warpaint with "paperthin" metal - Or that the Dalish enchant their robes in certain ways so that only one of the blood could activate its full power

But i do agree - kinda sucks but there are schematics that equal or are better than the top gear items like those

It does say "trained" as in "Elven-trained only" as opposed to elven by birth.

Whatever else she is Sera is certainly not elven-trained.

it's BS. I had some elven scout armor that I put some fade touched obsidian in so she would 3 guard per hit and when I got to put it on her? Nothing. Can't ware it. Not only that but if i sell it i get pennies. No one else in my group is a elf other that me (mage), solas (mage), and sera (rogue). WTF am i supposed to do? I can't get my fade **** back.

Can't sera use dalish daggers? Why not armor?

GTFO with that garbage.

How can one be "trained" to wear a particular set of armor? I imagined you just wore whatever fit you.
