I was fighting Northern Hunter, the dragon in Crestwood, and I whittled him down to about 15% HP. He did one of his lightning-based moves and I ran around for a second or two making sure that it wouldn't kill me, and then I realized that Northern Hunter wasn't doing anything anymore. He was stuck in his idle animations and became invulnerable and unable to be targeted. My party ignored him but I was still in combat according to my inability to save or access my inventory. The boss health bar in the top right corner showed him as having no health left, but the UI was still present.
