Same tier fade touched do not stack. So if you put 4 hidden blades with 5 hits you still only have 10% chance.

different ones of the same variety stack. i.e., "10% chance to deal hidden blades with 5 additional hits" wont stack with another of the same, but if you add a "10% chance to deal hidden blade with 4 additional hits" they both have serperate rolls.

Wait, what, they don't?! What a PITA! That means if you want hobble-cob gear to look the same with your Fade-Touched [Mat]you don't even reap the bonuses of such?!

So if you use say, Obisidian 3-guard on hit on a pair of daggers and armour, you still only get 3 instead of 9? BOLLOCKS

 

What about basic stat bonuses like +15 to stamina?

as i said, different ones stacks. so you can still have 20% chance on hidden blades, just not 20% change for hidden blades with the maximum efficiency. likewise, you can have a dagger with 3 guard on-hot and a dagger with a different number of guard on-hit, and then they will stack

Volcanic Arum Is another great mastercraft material for 2handers or DW. 10% chance to ignore damage is pretty nasty.

Ok - ive been searching the forums and I just cant find the answer to these 3 questions - And if you could answer these and if someone has a guide on mastercraft I would add these answers to them - (if im blind and i missed these answers I apologize in advance)

 

1. For mastercrafting - can Any ability mastercraft be used by any class? (excluding bugs) can my mage put a hidden blades mastercraft on? or guard on hit? Stealth while not attacking?- From my tests ive done myself I would say yes, but i would like to just make sure - 

Edit: I should clarify my full question a bit - If My mage has a shield bash on hit added to his staff, will the shield bash proc at the point of damage (At melee range to the enemy) - or will it proc at me? (completely out of range of all enemies for shield bash)

 

 

2. If I put on an ability where my char already has the upg version, does the upg apply to the mastercrafts proc? Lets say Im a rift mage with pull of the abyss upgraded - and i put the ability to cast pull of the abyss on hit - will the mastercraft version weaken the enemy? Shield bash on hit, will it do the extra 400% guard damage? 

 

3. Last - What does the Term On Hit refer to? At least when putting mats in for crafting you can see all offense slots on hit = When you hit target wheras all defense slots on hit means when you are hit -  Does the mastercraft on hit = 1, the other, or BOTH??? Or is it determined by where you put it? (armor - when hit by, Weapon - When hitting attacker?)

I can confirm that "On hit" is offensive. If you use Fade-touched Obsidian, and fire off an energy barrage as a mage, you'll generate tons of guard. 

 

In particular, I'm interested if the "On hit: Gain 3 Guard" is a different trigger than "2% chance to use Unbowed on a hit." The main difference from the syntax seems to be the chance (i.e. 100% guaranteed vs 2% chance) when you are hitting something else, not that the first one is when you are attacking and the second is when you are being attacked. 

 

(Basically, different version of squirpion's question.)

1. All "on-hit" abilities mean at the point of your attacks. That means whenever your sword hits, staff projectiles land, or spell triggers on an opponent. This means that is you have the chance to use hidden blades on a staff, when it procs, you will see the effect trigger on the enemy at any range, with no break in animation for your character. Same with Shield Bash. You will hear the sound, enemy will be struck, but you so not actually do the Shield Bash animation.

2. Offensive abilities & spells also count as "hits" so things like Immolate and Payback Strike can trigger hidden blades.

3. On-hit means per single hit. So if something hits multiple times, it gives multiple procs or multiple chances to proc. Things like Leaping Shot and Energy Barrage will generally on-it Guard in quick succession, or increase the chances of triggering something like Hidden Blades.

4. Oh-hit abilities always use the base stats & damage of a spell/ability. That means no upgrades & no buffs from any rings. Shield Bash trigger on-hit will not do the extra Guard dmg as it would from the upgrade, nor will Pull of the Abyss on-hit get an increased duration.

And I just wanted to ask if Thousand Cuts triggers the Hidden Blades on hit effect, i guess it would be a little hard to see :D

Thanks! Is there a way to get these items via the console or is there a 3rd party trainer? 

 

On PC you can use item swapper from cheat engine table to get all that stuff.

Fade-Touched Snoufleur Skin    Chance to grant 12 seconds of Horn of Valor (10%)    Tier 3

 

 Anybody know if this Horn of Valor has the same strength as the normal ability (+15 % attack and armor) ?

I suppose its balanced, can you imagine gaining 15 Guard on-hit as a rogue? You'd be so durable... Which would be so useful actually xD

 

Anyway, I think Onyx and Obsidian have the same material look, so you'll still be able to craft DW Daggers of Obsidian/Onyx. Leave the Silverite for the armor, and you should be gaining 10 Guard on-hit.

K the list is missing fade touched plush velvet t3 other effect. That is abilities etc cost 10% less mana/stamina
