Yes because short people are weak and long people are strong if a guy likes a shorter woman than him then its because shes weaker than him. (Sarcasm if anyone actually thought this was serious. You really like to stir crap up dont you?

Personally I don't get what the attraction towards Harding is

Man, you really like to stir the pot. Why dont you go away and take your "heterosexual" hate with you. Your posts are annoying and do nothing but stir crap up.

Are queers and feminists like you so intimidated by heterosexual men that they cannot stop talking about them and have to take every topic on this board as an excuse to attack them? Then, when a heterosexual man responds you run to the board mods demanding bans and thread locks?

And, personally speaking, as someone who romanced Cassandra and loved the character, I do not and never will consider a Dwarf romance to be pedophilia. I dont know if David Gaider ever said that, or if he was just being sarcastic and got misquoted, but im sure he'd be willing to include a Dwarf romance if it felt right for the story. As much as I loved Cassandra I would ditch her for Lace in a heartbeat, there's just something really fun and badass about her.

As far as Harding goes, I'm kinda with the PA comic on that one. It's not the race issue as much as it is the power gap. On one side you've got the leader of the fastest-rising military and political power in Thedas, who also happens to be the greatest religious icon the land has seen in centuries. On the other side you have a military scout.

I'd be all for a dwarf romance though. Hell, if she's in the next game with a slightly less Jesus-like protag...

Or Varric. Love me, Varric.

Varric's time is done, let him rest in piece. How about carry Dorian over ;P

Dorian: "Get me my cloak!"
Inquisitor: "Um...why don't you just get your coat?"
Dorian: "Oh, well then...get me my BLUE WINDBREAKER!!!"

I've got Dorian in Grey Warden armor; he cuts quite the figure.

He could make that blue windbreaker look good.

Out of all the female options, I found Scout Harding to be the cutest.

My third female Inquisitor flirted with anyone who had a little heart option (even though I, as the player, couldn't really see myself following through). Sera's answers felt really weird and Josephine's awkward. No matter how I flattered Vivienne or Casandra they still politely (more or less) changed the subject.

Lace Harding on the other hand would ask me to take care of myself while giving me a report about a new area... showed concern. One of the few people around Skyhold who give a sh** about the Inquisitor's health past the whole, you know, Inquisitor thing.

So yeah... note to some forum members: Scout Harding is not just for heterosexual men, she's also for heterosexual women :P she's just that appealing. ...if it makes any sense.

Idk she does seem like she was supposed to be  a romance, she wanted to see you in a tavern when it was all over. After it is "over" there is nothing to do. Future DLC? .-.

Seek help. It was mostly because of her nice personality. She was a breath of fresh air with all the gloom and doom of your companion. It has nothing to do with her size or ''power''. Wtf. Plus her voice actress was Liara. I knew it !

This explains my thoughts on dwarf sex and why we need a dwarf love interest. (SFW, just maybe not for your speakers)

It's not about physical attraction, I just liked her cause she's really adorable.

Lady-Stoneheart is just a troll. Realized that the first day I came here, how can't a guy with 15k posts realize that... Don't feed the troll.

I'd hate to be David Gaider.

Dude's been writing for BioWare since BG2 and everybody forgets that.

Yeah, he said something like that.

Probably a joke or tongue-in-cheek stuff.

But it's Gospel now and David Gaider hates Dwarves.

*sigh*

The woes of a public figure.

Mike did say that he got a tons of tweets / questions about dwarf romance, and he joked that dwarf romance will be the first thing on his list for next DA entry. And David was like, nope, story first. I do hope they will consider this tho. We have so many amazing dwarfs that are impossible not to love (Dagna in Origins, Sigrun in Awakening, Varric in DA2, now Harding...) it's like they are trolling us with adorable yet not romance able dwarfs D;

Indeed. My current theory for how BioWare will thwart my ambition to play a dwarf and romance another dwarf is that the next game will have a romanceable dwarf companion ... but no dwarf PC. (They've been thwarting me on this score for almost fifteen years now, so I'll be pleasantly surprised if they ever enable me instead.)

Naw. A troll is purposely trying to provoke people. The forum is just infested with SJWs and hardcore feminists, who legitimately think brainmeltingly retarded things like the Sera/Vivienne hate being just misogyny. There might be some trolls, but for most of them the truth is much sadder: they actually believe their rhetoric.

I'm sure a board infested with MRA's, GG'ers, and homophobes would be much more pleasant.

A dwarf romance?  Never.  Gaider says dwarf-on-human/elf/kossith romance is like pedophilia or something.

It sounds like I'm kidding, right?  I wish I was kidding.  Believe me I wish that.  (Not that I want or care about a dwarf romance, but pedophilia?!)

still funny, watch Sera´s romance video, that seems also like a pedo... :D

Im just surprised still that Harding hasn't got lots of hate from the hardcore anti-Liara people, Ali Hillis attempting a gruff voice doesn't hide it & her model even looks like Liara just without the blue skin, is a shame her romance doesn't go anywhere tho although i haven't tried it yet

This member for whatever reason seems to be going on a crusade against heterosexual men. Apparently all men are misogynists towards women. Read from page 3 here onward if you want a good laugh. http://forum.bioware...romances/page-3

Sound like an obvious troll to me.

She is adorable, polite and devoid of prejudice whether you play a Mage or Qunari what's not to like? Are you so hateful and prejudiced against straight males that you feel the need to attack theme?
