Yeah no, whats disrespectful is them telling us this game was going to be made for PC gamers which its clearly not. The controls alone leave absolutely no doubt thats its not. Argue it if you want but I see no facts to state otherwise. They made DA2 with PC controls why change it? Other than for consoles.
The controls clearly work for PC, and it's disingenuous to say otherwise.
All the controls that are unique to PC function within the game. Keyboard quickslots? Check. Keyboard binding? Check. Mouse clicking? Check. Mouse wheel scrolling? Check. Double clicking to select? Check. Popups on MouseOver? Check. Mouse drag and drop? Check.
All these are things that bad console ports do NOT do. If the controls weren't working, we wouldn't have a different interface for KB/M or Controller. We'd have to use WASD to navigate menus, for example.
Take a look at Mass Effect 2 for what poor PC controls ACTUALLY means (in the menus, specifically).
What it DOESN'T mean is click to move or click to loot or auto-attack or all that jazz while in action mode. Those things don't work because they're not MEANT to work. Action mode isn't the DA2 or DAO 3rd person camera mode. Maybe the game tutorial or some such was not clear enough on the difference, mind you, but those things are solely a matter of L2P and entirely unrelated to PC control support.
It's not perfect, and there's a few bugs and omissions that will be fixed (walk toggle, Push To Talk in MP, refresh on popups), but saying the controls were not made for PC is flat out wrong.
You just don't like the action mode design and maybe the new tac cam, but let's not pretend this has ANYTHING to do with Bioware lying to PC gamers. They didn't: PC controls are fully supported.
