TLoU - The Last of Us

I really want to play that.  I hope it comes out on the PC.

It wont.

Dark Souls 2 was my GOTY, now it's DA:I.

What the devil is TLOU?

Divinity OS, reminds me very much of DAI in as much as it's a con.  Lovely painted shell with nothing inside.

I disagree with either game being a con. I found both to be products of much love and hard work, with lots 'inside'. I just vastly prefer one of them over the other, that's all. I can hardly consider myself having been conned when I spent 30 hours with one game and 70 hours (and counting) with the other.

TLoU won't come out on any format other than PS because Sony owns Naughty Dog and keeps all their games PS exclusive.

Unless Naughty Dog cuts ties with Sony (and that's very unlickely), they will never release anything for other platforms other than Sony's.

Hasn't Sega recently found out they can make a fortune from converting console games to PC?

In the end money talks, practice walks.

But Sony doens't own Sega. They own Naughty Dog. Big difference.

A few bugs aside (cmon guys it is more open world then previous ones in the series) it is easily my fav game this gen on PS4.  Maybe even tying with Skyrim last gen due to the amazing charachters, dialogue and decisions.

Skyrim is not awesome game because Bethesda did something magical. they've used the same pattern for open-worldness since TES:Arena, they simply nourished their basic idea for more than one title. another thing... it's moddable. that means it allows us, gamers, to add whatever content we please, without being restricted by single dev's limited imagination. that one, simple thing, my PS4 friend, adds immortality to the mix.

I love DAI but no game this buggy should ever be considered GOTY.

I think DAI is the best game this year but it's still a bug ridden mess for me. I'll simply not vote and let other people decide.

Except that Skyrim sold like hotcakes on not-PC, and it wasn't PC that pushed its success. There are lots of things to say that TES did right with Skyrim to move units, but mods wasn't a core part of it.

I don't think it's fair that you think Skyrim shouldn't have won GOTY just because it was so buggy.

You mean a thread entitled "DA:I is awesome" (basically) attracted a lot of people that think DA:I is awesome.

My GOTY fo' sho'. And I liked Shadow of Mordor a whole lot, too. There was some competition.

Shadow of Mordor deserved to win. Innovation deserves to win. Not tacked on mutliplayer, fetch quests and microtransactions.

Shadow of Mordor indeed has an innovate system that I hope other devs explore. On the other hand, once you complete the main quests, it gets old and fast...

eh, I got 70 hours out of it in a single run. Nemesis took a while to get boring, but it did. I'm waiting on dlc :)
