Hello there,

 

I'm not sure if this is a bug but I'll elaborate and home someone can explain.

 

Damage from the front of archers = minimal damage, on threatening they barely take about 1-2% of my health, 0 whilst blocking. 

 

with ONE or TWO plates of armour they hit for 900-1,200 from the front which is instant K.O (this doesn't happen on any other classes except warriors with armour). 

 

With a full set of defense armour they deal damage enough to take it all and about 60-70% of my health. Damage from melee and magic hits like 1 point of my HP from the front whilst I have full armour. 

 

Magic damage vs full embodiment of armour is fine, I can take 3-4 hits from the Venatori boss before my health starts to decline. It only seems to happen vs archers.

It's because they have some stupid ass attack where if you don't kill them but get them down to about 20% hp, they trot away from you a few steps, turn around and do an instant huge damage shot.  It's 1 hit some of my level 20s in ROUTINE before, so it's really absurd in threatening and perilous.  I think I saw 1800 dmg in threatening from it.

So they basically deal more damage the lower the health they have? I honestly thought I was doing something wrong. It seems stacking ranged defense is pretty much useless then.

I think that attack might be bugged. With shield up, it builds guard and removes some stamina the same as normal arrows, even though it is supposed to do insane damage. I think it's good for enemy archers to have some abilities, but 1k damage is a bit too much, especially when you can know full well you have to take out the archer before he headshots you but you can't because you are standing around like a retard due to the sluggish animations.

I'm also quite certain that archers are bugged in more ways than one. There is that step forward back turn they do which often results in OHK, but I've seen regular shots hit me and cause 1 - 5 instances of damage instead of just one. To explain:

 

Normal:

 

1 arrow hits you

 

1 red number appears, lets say 100.

 

Some health is lost.

 

 

Bug/multiple instances:

 

1 arrow hits you

 

4 red numbers appear, each doing 100 damage or more.

 

80 - 100% health is lost.

 

 

As for armour, it's been discovered that it is mostly useless and only valuable on low levels where enemy damage is not in triple figures.
