What determines who is qualified?
I think you have to ask while talking to them before the end scenes but I'll experiment with that on my next playthrough if noone knows for sure.

My first playthrough I romanced Josephine and she danced with me. Nice.
During my second playthrough, I didn't romance anyone and it ended up being Josephine that came out to talk with me and accept a dance with me.
Someone on the What I did in DAI today thread romanced Cassandra and she never went out to dance with the Inquisitor
naw I danced with Cassie during my romance @ 51:36

I was just wondering, is every romance partner available to dance with you at the end of Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts? I can't really imagine Solas or Sera slow dancing with you.
I've looked around on youtube and found videos of dances with Josie, Bull, Cullen, and Cassandra but none for any of the other romances.
I don't know about that, but I'm certain you get additional options with Blackwall. With Cullen I could only dance, Blackwall gives another option if i remember correctly.

I hate the outfit that the Inquisitor wore in this mission. It was like a Buckingham palace guard and an RCMP officer had a son, and that son was this outfit that I had to wear to a party where everyone was wearing luxurious robes and dresses. Vivienne looked the weirdest out of all my co in that outfit.
Anyway, I never start this quest until I initiate a romance with my chosen LI. I have seen Josie, Cass, and Cullen in my game. I think Solas and Blackwall have their own dances too but I never romanced them so I can't confirm.

I romanced no one in my current playthrough and Josephine came to speak to me after the ball. There was a flirt option to ask her to dance, so it was nice to see that from what I can tell any Inquisitor can have a dance at the end if they wish ![]()

Was bummed that the Bull dance was implied... totally would have loved him dancing like he'd been an Orlesian aristocrat for decades... Ben Hassrath training, you know.
I feel the urge to write this fanfiction now. XD
Add it to the list, I suppose. Lol

So is there any specific way to trigger these dances? Like, if I romanced Cullen, having him come out instead of Josephine.
I need to know because I really wanna dance with Solas since he has like, a total of two romance scenes. XD

I was romancing Solas, and got Josie coming out and dancing with me instead... but I did flirt with her a few times.
Cass, I straight up asked her to dance when I saw her hanging out, and she came out. Didn't flirt with Josie in that playthrough, though.

I think you just have to be in a relationship with them--at least, that's how it was with Cullen. It doesn't matter if you chose the 'Save me a dance?' option or not with him during the ball, he shows up in the end and asks you for one.So is there any specific way to trigger these dances? Of course, I didn't flirt with anyone else throughout the playthrough.

I didn't get a dance scene with Cullen even though I was romancing him. :b
Something to note, the romance only "officially" starts after either either wicked eyes and hearts or into the abyss, depending whichever you do first.
If you do wicked eyes first you haven't had the chance to lock into a romance with anyone so you'll only be able to dance with Josie.
At least I'm pretty sure this is the case, must test further.

Not at all though, I always do WEWH first before HLTA and I still got the dance scene with Cullen.

Although Quizzie's response changes a little, if she accepts.

Hmm, that's rather odd. Did you start a romance with him before doing WEWH? If you did and still didn't get the scene, I don't know what's wrong.

With Blackwall, if you're officially in a relationship with him he'll ask you to dance but you can also pick "Just stay with me". I haven't chosen that option so not sure what that looks like.
I've also done that quest (female noble) without bringing my LI and Josie comes out on the balcony. She didn't ask me to dance though, just asks me if I'm alright or need a drink.

Nope, romanced Cass, did WEWH first, she danced with me. You can lock in her romance prior to WEWH and Adamant though, if you do her personal quest and then the Ideal Romance quest.

Blackwall will put his arm around the Inquisitor and stay on the balcony with her if the "just stay with me" option is chosen.
I've also picked the "let's just go" option and that scene bugs out big time. It goes blank for a bit and then you can see him putting his arm around an invisible person as they exit the balcony into the ballroom. Not sure if that bugs out for the dwarf only or for all races.

I had the chance to dance with her during my current playthrough due to not romancing anyone too. I didn't however......I could have, but didn't.

I think you are supposed to bring up the issue in one of the preliminary dialogues in the ballroom.
