Was bummed that the Bull dance was implied... totally would have loved him dancing like he'd been an Orlesian aristocrat for decades... Ben Hassrath training, you know.

Sera danced with me alright. She warned about potentially stepping on my Inquisitor's feet though.

The Solas one was very sweet.

For me (I've only romanced Cullen and Solas so far - working on Iron Bull and Blackwall next), I had talked to Solas and Cullen while I was searching through the palace.

 

For Solas - it was the option to ask him to dance with you, he declines saying it would probably cause a fuss and he came out to my character at the end and asked her to dance.

 

For Cullen - it was the option to ask him to save you a dance. He tells you that he doesn't dance due to Templars not being trained and he came out to my character at the end and asked her to dance.

 

Thinking back on it...my Lavellan had flirted with Cassandra & Solas and was in a romance with Solas.

 

For Cullen - my Trevelyan had flirted with Josephine once, flirted a few times at the beginning with Iron Bull and was in a romance with Cullen.

 

I'm not sure what the triggers are - I will see how it goes with Blackwall and Iron Bull (Should be interesting...)

I think you just have to be in a relationship with them--at least, that's how it was with Cullen. It doesn't matter if you chose the 'Save me a dance?' option or not with him during the ball, he shows up in the end and asks you for one. Although Quizzie's response changes a little, if she accepts.
Of course, I didn't flirt with anyone else throughout the playthrough.

I flirted with everybody, before deciding that my Inquisitress was embarassed and awkward enough to be a perfect match for Cullen. Flirting with other characters doesn't lock out the romance, nor the dance scene.

Speaking of race, anyone have videos of dancing dwarf or qunari inquisitor?

 

I have several videos of dancing dwarves. 

 

Nothing to do with Dragon Age. I just put them on when I feel low.

I think you have to ask some of the companions for a dance prior to the scene itself, I know that to be true for Cullen and Cassandra but others you don't get the option to ask them before however they dance with you anyway that's true for Josephine so far as I have tested. I have romanced Cullen, Bull, Cassandra, Solas, Sera and Josephine so far. If you are not in a romance with anyone Josephine comes to the balcony and gives you the lines everyone does without the dance option.

Yes and with Blackwall you ask him to save a dance for you and he says "all of them" - then later he comes out onto the balcony and dances with you. I really am enjoying this romance even though we obviously had an ISSUE to work through. The dancing part is very nice too, no matter who it is with (I romanced Solas the last time...talk about two different types of guys)

I am having a heart option to ask Blackwall, but not Solas. I'm very disturbed. Have I somehow lost the chance to romance Solas? I kissed him in the Fade, but I'm hearing there's another one which I somehow didn't see. I exhausted all conversation options and did his personal quest with the good outcome. Not sure what I could've done wrong. I've gotten lots of approval with him, and he was always the one I exhausted first.

 

I have already completed Here Lies the Abyss. Am I screwed with romancing anyone besides Blackwall? Have I somehow been ninjamanced by flirting too much? Am I bugged? I can't exactly go back, I don't have the energy to replay like 70 hours of gameplay and all the leveling I've done since then while I was waiting for a fix for the ugly WEWH Nutcracker outfit. And I can ONLY romance Solas with a female elf, so it's not like I can just do another playthrough. 

 

Trying going back, rejecting Blackwall as much as I can, and then going to WEWH. Will report the results.

 

Addendum: Confirmed, I don't have a heart option with Solas even after rejecting Blackwall. FML.

I have a question, I'm now at the point where I have to choose whether to complete either Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts or Here Lies the Abyss first. My initial plan was to complete WE&WH first and then HLTA second because I researched on forums that we will get a certain special dialogue scene between two Origins characters if we complete the quests in that order. But what I'm worried about is people are saying to get Cassandra to dance with me in WE&WH, I have to complete all of her companion quests. So Far I've done Unfinished Business and Guilty Pleasures, but Promise of Destruction is only available after HLTA and The Ideal Romance has not popped for me yet. I have picked all romance options for Cass and no one else, she says "its good to see me" which is an indicator that her approval with me is quite high. Will I still miss out on the chance to dance with Cass if I decide to proceed with WE&WH before HLTA? Has anyone gotten her to dance with you whilst in my position?

 

PS: I know this is the spoiler approved part of the forum, but any effort to avoid them is greatly appreciated! ^-^

I was romancing Solas but I didn't take him along for this quest so Josie offered, and I accepted! Josie is very sweet, especially when her sister blurted out that she likes to play with dolls (I collect dolls). My character is straight but her reasoning was, hell, I went through all that with someone I hated... Might as well do it with someone I like.

Just to be clear, none of these seem to be actual dance scenes? Just a brief "off to dance" cutscene which fades to black and then you are back at skyhold?

They're not full dance scenes like with Florianne, but most of them show the couple taking 3 or 4 dance steps together on the balcony before the fade to black. Iron Bull and the Inquisitor just head inside together like they're about to dance on the main floor.

We dont get any Dance with sera . I mean she say she gonna dance and may step on your toes..but I never seen my Qunari actually dancing with Sera . 

 

Did anyone get any cutscene with dancing ?

Solas is buzzing about all the court stuff (to the point where he forgets to watch what he says and almost outs himself) so yes he wants to dance.  Sera will dance if you ask her.
