Oh dang. Really sorry to hear that. 
Eagle-Eyed is the worst perk ever. It seems like it's more of a hindrance than anything.

If you really want to waste a point, get Optimal Cutting... I thought it's more or less useless (and it really isn't useful enough to be a priority) but it's actually pretty decent of a perk.
And as far as I remember, it's the ultimate choice if you need to "waste" a point on something and already got all the things useful to you.
