Turians are technically avian. Birds sharpen their beaks on cuttlebones. I can see it as being a racial slur.

I'd thought it was a slur referring to their scales/plates/whatever.  They're rather...pointy and hard as a species. :3

Naw, cuttlebone fish are actually squishy and in my case, seizure-inducing. Okay, this is me being very insensitive, but since it's on purpose to explain I guess it's okay.

You know how in the real world, some morons call Arabic people sand-Nbombs or towelheads? It's technically inaccurate on every level, but it turns into a slur anyway.

d) as for secret hidden files of Garrus romance scenes deleted -- there ARE those deleted FemShep-romancing-Tali lines (anyone else find it weird that they nixed the F/F relationship but still left a few of the lines, like where Tali tells her she wants to link suits and then gets all flustered); if those exist no reason not to dream more's out there!

Well, when they're alive, yes.  I meant the cuttlebone itself...what you get from the store. ^^ But yes, it's just a slur...like most, they don't often make much sense and are there to just convey whatever negative vibe the slur-thrower is feeling. =/

Regardless...cause enough for me to want to airlock Jacob. :3 Bro-hugs are all well and good, but when you start insulting Garrus things are going to get ugly.

In my native language they tranlated it as a pejorative and offensive. "Skorupiarz" meaning pffff...hard-ass.
