I'd buy Garrus a proper outfit and take him back to my place on Intai'sei for a night alone... with no interruptions.

Howeverrrr... For those of us who drool over the perfection that is Garrus face.. I'd like an option for the pretty version! :3 It wouldn't be too hard to give it to us as a bonus we can unlock after we beat the game, right? Or say his loyalty 'armor' will have him all fixed up, and the default Garrus will still have scars?
There are ways to work this in there

The holiday is rapidly spreading among the asari and volus, who embrace its unusual mix of commerce and reproduction.
I'd bake him a dextro-cake. Shepard would probably buy him a sniper rifle.
And about the scars: when I first saw him with the scars it was a surprise. My first though was: "Oh, a change. A permanent change. He's gonna be like that from now on."
My final response would be that I don't care. At all. It doesn't bother me, and I'm intrigued, because it really IS a big change to his face. Also, I'm starting to consider Zaeed kinda handsome, so it makes me wonder if I do have a thing (if little) for that after all... I vote no, but who knows.

Frankly what I'd like to know most is the ratio of people who want Garrus scarred, or Garrus fixed. Not that I have any problem with the scars, I quite like how they add character and sympathy for him![]()

There are ways to work this in thereI like his scarred up face as much as everyone else here, but you gotta admit... an option to switch it out would still be amazing, especially for screenshots!
I'd prefer that he keep the scars. I don't mind him keeping the bandage either, but I would like that armor to be fixed.

Agh, silly poll. I don't want ALL of his face fixed. Just get rid of the bandage! (And new armor. That too.)
Indeed. Bandage gone would be good, but... those scars better stay. They make Garrus (if possible) even more badass!

I'm going out for sushi and stupid amounts of alcohol with my guy. Nothing says romance like having to take a cab home, but I'm being smart about it this year. Sensible shoes!

2) Cat-guy?! It's been mentioned before, but I just think it's funny that someone who has never seen a turian before would see a feline resemblance before a reptilian one.
I'm one of them =). It is the nose/mouth

Not as big as you'd like, but still pretty detailed

*it's not as bad as your story, but one day a teacher who already disliked me purposefully snatched a folder full of our stories off my desk that was underneath my books, because she had seen me enjoying it before (I know this sounds like childish bias towards events but just trust me), she pulled me out in the hall the next day, and to this day I remember my feelings of shock and anger when she told me she had read it -- I don't know why, but that made me so angry, like it wasn't HERS to read...also this thing was like 50 pages long, hope she enjoyed it -- and that it was filth and a waste of time (I think she just didn't understand it, it was anime fanfiction, but there was nothing like x rated or violent in there) and that she had considered throwing it away or giving it to the principal. That insulted me so much too, like it was something "bad" that I should be embarrassed of. I was so relieved when she gave it back to me it was like having your lost child returned to you. From then on I always felt uncomfortable in her class, like she knew something private about me from having read my "fantasy" fiction, as it were, that she wasn't supposed to. Well, whatever, I went on to win the school trophies in both the subjects she "taught" me -- geography and state history -- despite daydreaming my way through every single one of her lectures
And here I am on a Garrus love thread. Once a fangirl, always a fangirl, you can't threaten that out of me

Thanks for sharing! I had this giant fanfiction I wrote about Vegeta when I was in grade 7, my English teacher was curious since I spent a lot of time writing, so I let him read it. He was the exact opposite of your teacher, he was encouraging and supportive and told me to keep it up. He was one of my favourite teachers of all time, a really down-to-earth fantasy nerd who gave us all lollipops after class every day. He kicked ass.
I know what you mean, though. I have some stories that are just... personal, and I'd feel really violated if someone read them. Like a diary.

Hate to inject after the fact, but I was always someone who defended my rights, even against overbearing teachers, and my parents have always backed me up when someone does something wrong and illegal
What your teacher did was illegal. She stole something of yours, at the time. Then she INVADED your privacy by reading the material without your permission. She had no right to take a folder, which was probably closed and you weren't reading it, without your permission.
I would have reported that teacher in and submitted a complaint (via your parents) to the school district.
Teachers are not supposed to terrorize students in the classroom; and by doing what she did, she made the classroom a hostile environment.
But as this advice is a little late for you, it seems that you have grown past that bad experience and have made the best of your life, which is cool
Hope that anyone who thinks that just because they are in school, it doesn't mean your rights are suddenly gone. Expectation of privacy is still a fundamental right for every student, and not even a teacher can violate that right.
