I doubt BW will ever delve that deeply into their biology.

Of course not! That's what they have adoring fans for. :innocent:

I hope they do go deeper into other species' biology. It would be interesting to know. Of course there would be idiots like Fox News all over it. I really want to know more about Turians though. They're the most interesting species EVER.

::decides to keep her comments on the subject relatively wholesome:: Do his face plates taste like sugar too? That could alleviate some of the awkwardness of kissing that tough turian beak. :P

By the standards of some of the things I've seen on some of these love threads, that's pretty tame.

...things got a little silly on the Miranda thread right around page 220-221.

"G-Chat: Too hot for the forums!"

Eradyn, I was thinking you, me, and antilles333 from the Tali thread, and maybe a few others, should get a little OP clubhouse, or underground lair, or something. Form like the OP Legion of Doom.

Here's the "official" page for that plushie I did a while back, just so the OP can be updated.

The toxicity interpretations are speculative at best, but consuming specific dextro proteins could cause malfunctions in a levo-based creature's lowest level digestion mechanisms, producing at best the wrong and at worst deadly compounds, but for the most part the enzymes associated with a protein are biased to only that protein like a glove. There are some dextro-amino acids identified that would be toxic to a levo-based creature, but these are high-complexity with no naturally occurring levo variants anyway.

Highly likely nothing would happen, but you could exercise caution just to be safe.  Truth is we have no idea what the composition of Garrus's...let's call it fluid would be.  Different species on this planet vary wildly as well, so perhaps Mordin could be correct in that you don't want to ingest.

Re-reading it, then, it appears that most of the issues might come from the "high-complexity" dextro-amino acids.  The question then, is, what constitutes that? I doubt we'll ever know, considering turians are a fictional species and I doubt BW will ever delve that deeply into their biology.  I suppose then that one should exercise caution, since the chance is there that there might be a severe enough reaction, even if that chance is very small.

Surely there must have been at least *one* other couple in the universe who've done some, er, experimentation.  Shep could just ask them!  Maybe they posted their findings on the extranet....:innocent:

"Liquid Sugar" would certainly make a wonderful name for a fic. It's actually generating a ton of great ideas in my head right now, though I'm not due to write anything worthwhile or deep until May

It would make either a great fan fiction name, or a great name for a turian on human skin flick. *bow chicka bow wow*

Just wanted to pop in and say Happy Valentines Day to my favorite peeps on these forums! I wish I had some art prepared or a finished comic but alas...all I did today was ride a gondola with my sweet heart and then nap most all of the afternoon away.

But...dear lord did I pop in at the best time ever.

I must admit, though...this information on the "liquid sugar" may very well destroy two comic pages I have written, but at the same time it opens doors to more jokes...even dirtier ones, really.

As long as we're posting Garrus/Valentines Day related songs... I think this one is probably fitting. Heh heh. (no, it's not Afternoon Delight :P )

Oh god, I know the Ashley fans would hate me, but has anyone seen Ash's sequence on Horizon and paid really close attention to her eyes?  She pulls a few 'herpderp' moments which totally ruin the sequence, now that I see them. XD[smilie]http://social.bioware.com/include/fckeditor/editor/images/spacer.gif[/smilie]

They were always weird in ME1, too. That's why I didn't mind. It was like, "That's my girl!"

Hahaha, I was thinking the same thing. XD This time around, Jacob does it sometimes. Or just rolls them back into his skull.

More Turian Tongue! Or.. mouth! Riot went ahead and showed me this earlier. You can clip inside the Turians at the doors to the plague-area of Omega :D

Pretty detailed! Turians have few teeth, but the ones they do have are omg massive.

Garrus: I... what?

Oh, God.

LOL. You people are so, so funny, but so, so saucy. I approve.

Yeah, I got to figure their eating methods largely involved tearing and rending, and then using their tongues to mash the food to a pulp. I have trouble imagining any turian as a vegetarian thanks to those teeth. Everything in that dental work there says Castiel under Famine's influence is NOTHING in the carnivore department compared to a turian.

Which makes me wonder, you know, about certain meals. Is the big celebratory feast less likely to be a roast bird and more likely to be a roast fish? How do they feel about omlettes? I wonder this stuff.
